High Pressure Phone Call to List Cars for Sale with their Web Site-Scam-Fraud- They charge your credit card for advertising that does not work. When you call to inquire and complain about no results first they try to talk you out of your complaint, then when you ask for your money back they get nasty and say too bad no refunds.

I was called by phone one evening and asked if I had any cars to sell. I said I did and James Beck gave me a sales pitch on how he could list my cars on their special site and could sell them fast.

He asked for my credit card number and gave me a "special deal" for listing 2 vintage cars I own. The cost was several hundred dollars per listing.

Four months later no calls or inquirey on any car. Not one!!!

I called custorme service 3 times and they try to sweet talk you out of your complaint.

When I called today(4th time) and talked to Tom in customer service and demanded my money back for this useless service his pleasant mood changed to no refunds! We do not care if you call your credit card company! We do not care if you call the Nevada Attorney General! We do not care what you do. They list the Las Vegas chamber of commerce and owner Robert Wilder on this site. They try to appear consumer friendly but they are liers and cheats.

These con me should be stopped!

OSM's response to Mr. Paul Delgado

AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

OSM is absolutely and has always been an entirely separate company from Motorzoousa.com. Mr. Delgado has some things to say about OSM that he has no actual knowledge of. He claims to be aware of some controversy surrounding OSM. I wish I knew what he was speaking of. I occupy the very same position within OSM that he claims to have with Motorzoousa.com and I am well aware of the operations of OSM and there is no controversy here.

The one thing that Mr. Delgado and I will agree on is that OSM and Motorzoousa.com are not and have NEVER been the same company. While OSM did have an office in the Commercial Center in Las Vegas, given our growth and success for our clients, we moved to more spacious facilities on S. Rancho. OSM has also not attacked any of our competitors no matter who they may be.

Mr. Delgado claims that the Owner of OSM changed our address to match that of Motorzoousa.com. Sorry Paul, but you should check your facts. OSM was in the Commercial Center BEFORE your company existed and when we left, we changed our licenses to the proper jurisdiction, which is the City of Las Vegas which is where OSM now resides. We certainly do have the proper credentials to do business and our license number is: A02-02161. Please fell free to search the City of Las Vegas business department for the information.

Mr. Delgado uses the fact that OSM appears as a sponsored link when someone searches for his company and he accuses OSM of attempting to steal business. Given that this is a free country and that in an effort to provide consumers a choice about the services they use, there is nothing at all sinister about appearing in the search results that are returned when searching for your company, Mr. Delgado. It's good business. Competition keeps prices reasonable, and allows for the consumer to check out all of their options. Whether your company chooses not to participate is entirely up to you.

Mr. Delgado then asks everyone to go to any of the search engines and search for phrases that his company has purchased. Of course they will come up number one with those phrases entered. That is the very essence of keyword optimization! He goes on to claim that they also have the ability to submit short, text-only to literally thousands of internet classifieds. However at this point no examples are provided. I wouldn't provide any either if the only thing we were doing is a data feed with just text and nothing else. The specialty software he refers to doesn't seem to provide much value to their clients. OSM does their posting the old-fashioned way of providing a full ad with photos on several additional sites that are specific to private party vehicle sales, thus providing our clients with real value for the money spent with us.

I invite anyone who has a question about our company to call me directly on our customer service number at 877-566-6686 and ask for me personally to answer their questions.

OSM has no comment on Motorzoousa.com's internal conflicts with their previous employees other than to state again here for the record that OSM and Motorzoousa.com are in no way affiliated whatsoever.

Address Location 953 East Sahara suite 234 or 238

AUTHOR: Jeff - (U.S.A.)

Motorzoousa actually did operate out of that address on Sahara in the Commercial Center in a building located on the very west end of the shopping complex, this shopping complex is known for its cheap rental offices and spaces as it is very old and falling apart. The building MotorzooUSA was located in was called the Commercial Arts building and MotorzooUSA was located on the second floor just past the stairs to the left. They operated out of the several suites on that floor and are no longer there and have relocated to Utah I understand and are now operating under the moniker "ZeroDownMotors.com BUYER BEWARE

Odd Things in Common

AUTHOR: S - (U.S.A.)

If you search around on this site for references to motorzoousa and OSM you will find certain things in common, such as "Chuck" being the mentioned name of a OSM employee who mis-represented the sale, oddly enough that's the name of the Owner of MotorZoo USA, altho it may look more familiar as C. Doucette. This is the element in the equation. The genius behind the scam and many others, which is why the man moves from state to state setting up rooms, working them and stealing ideas, such as he did at OSM and then went to form MotorZoo USA. To this date I have not recieved any TAX information from them, nor my final paycheck nor the money for the bounced checks the management of MotorZoo USA had passed to me. Also note that Thomas Rothrock worked for OSM and now is a manager at MZUSA. All the info is out there, look around this site and put it togather, all of the companies mentioned in this report and others on this site are most definatly rip-offs, do the research before buying and most importsnt if anyone CALLS you and tries to SELL you something over the PHONE..... don't do it.

-----------------------

As a former employee of Motorzoousa for several months in various capacities, I have to say the idea was good but the management is the downfall of this company, C. Doucette is a true mastermind of ways to scam the public and therefore never approached it as a business and was always more interested in the angle and fastest way to get the working public's cash.

While working there my pay was restructured several times, I was a hard worker who put more time in than what normal person would have tolerated, but I needed a paycheck and so I stuck it out.

I had several different jobs while there, all took more hours than actually paid for, as well as promised rewards that never materialized. I was expected to carry a large burden in services for this company and no amount of work or dedication was ever enough.

I put in many many grueling hours with this company only to be rewarded with being fired for now apparent reason during the christmas holidays and never recieved a final paycheck. This company never kept employment records and to this day no former employees have recieved either 1099 or W-2 forms as required by law to be delivered before Feb 28 of any year.

If you are contacted by this company BEWARE!!!, they will not refund your money for any reason. I urge you to contact your State Attorney General if you have a victim to the scam this company perpetrates.

Owners of this company are C. Doucette and G. Robertson please include those names in your complaint the Attoney General. The amount that any victim has paid to this company is excessive considering the low success rate of vehicle sales.

Buyer Beware

ps...Are you actually operating out of 953 E. Sahara [suite]238?

From my memory as a Las Vegas cab driver, all suites in the Commercial Center start with a letter, IE: Suite B-1, etc.

I think that suite 238 is a box at a private mailbox store. As I remember it was Mail Plus or something like that.

I lived around Sahara/Maryland Pkwy which is right around the corner from 953 E. Sahara/ Commercial Center. I am very familiar with the businesses in that plaza.

Never, Ever Accept "Help" From These Types Of Companies...

AUTHOR: Douglas - (U.S.A.)

I have been a victim of a company like this and I would advise anyone who ever has a car for sale online to never, ever give business to a company that got it's lead from an ad you already posted online. You will will definitely have better luck using the major advertiser you are already listed with.

In my opinion, these companies are worthless and sell a worthless product. I am still convinced that One Stop Motors, Motor Zoo USA, and National Auto Shopper are connected in some way. They are WAY too similar in operation to not be. Check out their sites. Same game. Same gimmick. It is not a coincidence that they are/were located within four miles of each other in Las Vegas.

For shame, for shame...

Thanx Paul!...I appreciate you clearing that up...and..

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

I lived in Las Vegas as well, for 7 years and was a cab driver and a limo driver.

I am thoroughly familiar with 953 E Sahara in Las Vegas. It is a large shopping plaza, etc..that is called "Commercial Center".

The only problem with "suite 238" is that the physical address #'s in Commercial Center ALL start with a letter..IE: Suite B-1, etc..

Suite 238 I believe is a private mailbox address.

I can verify this this weekend. I have a good friend that lives right around the corner. I will send him over to investigate this Saturday.

Thanks again for clearing up the confusion.

#11 UPDATE Employee

Once again, MotorZooUSA.com is NOT the same company

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

This 2nd post is mainly in response to Steve of Bradenton, FL and to Neil of San Ramon, CA as well.

Steve, I am actually from Bradenton too, believe it or not. I grew up in a house on 22nd Ave W & 75th St to be exact. So I wanted to personally respond to your question of "what gives?"

I posted to this thread because our company name is mentioned in it, and it appears in search engines when "motorzoousa" is searched. I am completely aware that this post was initiated against One Stop Motors. However, as our name also appears in this thread, I feel it is my duty to respond and defend my own company, MotorZooUSA.com, which I and many others have worked extremely hard to build.

I want to reiterate that we are IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM affiliated with One Stop Motors. We are NOT the same company and NEVER have been. If there is similar or matching address information in the domain WHOIS reports, then I personally believe it is a result of deliberate attempts by a direct competitor to "drag us down" with them, as One Stop Motors does NOT currently occupy 953 E Sahara Ave Suite 238 in Las Vegas.

If you like, you are free to contact Prestige Realty which operates the Commercial Arts Building at 953 E Sahara to verify this. They will most likely tell you that even if One Stop Motors occupied the same office, they no longer do and have not for some time now.

It is apparent that One Stop Motors has angered enough people to cause themselves serious repercussions. I genuinely and sincerely feel for all customers of One Stop Motors who did not receive the services they purchased. I can put myself in the shoes of others and empathize with how infuriating it is to spend hard-earned money on something to be found worthless, as I work very hard for my pay as well.

However, it is personally important to me to make clear to all of you that MotorZooUSA.com has had nothing to do with any of the complaints in this thread. We are a completely separate business entity owned by different principals, incorporated under different articles. Please search both 'onestopmotors' and 'motorzoousa' at the Nevada Secretary of State website.

Again, if you do a little more digging, you will find that we are indeed DIFFERENT COMPANIES WITH DIFFERENT OWNERS. I do not know how to aid you in making this any clearer.

Steve, you seem like quite an intelligent person, and I sincerely admire your investigative skills and grasp of technology, but I hope you understand that it is very easy to change the registrant information in a WHOIS domain report.

******************************************

You see directly above that this record was last updated the day I write this, the 13th of April. Rob Wilder does not occupy 953 E Sahara Ave Suite 238, yet he has recently & purposefully allowed the incorrect information to remain in his registrant details.

Because of this, I have removed any information from MotorZooUSA.com's WHOIS report that would be similar to that of One Stop Motors. This is not an attempt to "hide" anything, as you posted the previous WHOIS reports here anyway and here they will remain. Rather, it is an attempt to remove any further association whatsoever between MotorZooUSA.com and One Stop Motors.

I think this whole situation also serves to prove that Rob Wilder is not only using fraudulent and deceptive business practices to steal from hard-working consumers, but he is also using the same deceptive and fraudulent tactics to discredit his more legitimate competitors.

MotorZoo USA is a big SCAM

AUTHOR: S - (U.S.A.)

Well now it's my turn to rock the boat. I worked for this company, and I can say they have their heads so far up their asses. The new part owner, lets call him G. Robertson and the other owner , lets say C. Doucette. Now before I flame them and out the dirty undies, I will say that Mr. Paul Delgado does try to manage and maintain MZ as a reputable company, unfortunatly , the other morons definatly screwed that up. Now the owners of the company, really don't care about refunds, many times when one should have been released they flat out said f**k them. Other times they would willingly put through checks that had had stop payment of NSF.

Among other things they are not an honest company, numerous employees were fired without getting final pay. They really don't have any buyers lined up for any vehicles and the numbers called are all published on the internet somewhere. Alot of good people put in hard work there to keep things going and to try to maintain some sembelance of decency, but they either got fired because one of the owners was spending company money like water for personal lifestyle, which meant they couldnt afford to pay them anymore, or said employees had one too many bounced paychecks, some of those which I may add have not been recovered, to my count today from speaking with the ex employees, there are a total of 8 nsf paychecks paid out.

Watch out for this company, they moved operations to utah and I am sure they are still in the office on sahara st. Oh yeah and they will never take responsibility for the f**k ups they caused, they will only look for a scapegoat or try to FRAME someone. This is another matter tho. Anyone who worked here should file a report.

Paul comes on as a rep of MotorZoo in response to a post against OSM.

Ok guys, what gives here?

One Stop Motors is a fraud and a scam.

They have no CURRENT business credentials anywhere in NV and the addresses they list are private mailboxes. They have no listed business telephone#.

They get ALL of the leads they use from ads. They will call every ad in these pubs and try the hard sell for these worthless services.

I have been called by these idiots several times on each ad I placed. They have a hard time with the meaning of the word NO.

AUTHOR: Neil - (U.S.A.)

I think its great how these guys say that OSM and motorzoousa are not the same company. They have the same address and perform the same fradulent "business" practices. In there minds, It must be common for two "different" businesses to be in the same area, with the same address and have the same scamming methods. Is there any lawsuit going on against these guys yet?

With all the people involved, im surprised nothing has happened. The word is out, and these guys should be scared. Like said above by another victim, it's not about the money anymore, it's about watching these guys go down and making sure they dont do this again. I want to be there when it happens. I hope you guys enjoy pissing people off, becuase i cant wait to see yall go down then we will see who has the last laugh.

Rocking the boat

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

I'd first like to introduce myself to those reading: my name is Paul Delgado, and I am the General Manager of MotorZooUSA.com. I have worked with this company for a full year now, and I can say with total and complete confidence that this company does more for Private Sellers than any other company in the industry, hands down.

Through the past year, we have "crossed paths" so to speak with several other businesses that are selling a product/service very similar to ours: an advertising package for Private Sellers offering used vehicles for sale to the open market. What we also have found is that this is indeed a very tough and competitive industry... many people are often under some degree of pressure to sell their vehicle(s) and sell quickly. We honestly do try our absolute best when it comes to cases like these, but the facts are that the used vehicle market is very unpredictable and it is not an easy task to keep every single client 100% satisfied.

That being said, we as a company are constantly striving to improve in every way we can. We have made major changes to our business in an effort to better serve the public and offer a real, concrete product and good service, and we will continue to do so as we grow.

We are aware of the controversy surrounding one of our direct competitors, onestopmotors.com. We are also aware that many people are very unhappy with the product/service they received from Robert Wilder's company.

I would like to make it very clear to everyone interested in this matter that MotorZooUSA.com is in no way, shape, or form affiliated with OneStopMotors.com. We are NOT the same company, and NEVER have been; however, it seems as though our company has now impacted the market in such a way as to cause Mr. Wilder, other competitors, and some individuals to publicly attack our company in an attempt to discredit us.

This thread I am responding to is a good example. Here, it has been shown that Mr. Wilder changed the address information on his domain's 'WHOIS' report to match the address of one of our offices, namely the one in Las Vegas. I would like to point out that 953 E Sahara Ave is a very large business complex that houses many, many different businesses. If One Stop Motors was at one point headquartered at 953 E Sahara, it was well before my time... but regardless of that, again, we are NOT the same company and never have been.

I easily can show yet another example of the difference between the type of company I work for and the type of company that Mr. Wilder runs. All you have to do is go to Google.com and search 'motorzoousa'. You will see on the right-hand side that OneStopMotors.com has purchased the keyword of our company name to show up as a sponsored result. This is an obvious attempt to steal business from us. Conversely, if you search 'onestopmotors', you will find that we have NOT bought the keyword of his company name and are not attempting to hijack business from OneStopMotors.com in the same manner as they are trying to do to us. I also noticed today that AutoTrader.com, the big fish in the pond, has also bought the 'motorzoousa' keyword... I am actually very excited by this as it shows that we, the little fish, are making waves. We are doing nothing short of revolutionizing the way used vehicles are bought, sold, and advertised on the open market. We know that upsetting the status quo may make a few other people and a few other more established companies unhappy; however we have expected this to happen and are prepared to show anyone who is interested exactly what we do that is causing such a stir in our competition.

As an example, try going to any of the search engines

Now, search on any of these keyword phrases:

2004 bmw ci

1970 plymouth barracuda

1997 harley davidson fatboy

1995 monaco dynasty

2004 velocity power boat

You will see MotorZooUSA.com show up 1st in a list of search results as a Sponsored Search. In almost every instance, we are able to obtain top placement for our clients across the Yahoo! Search Marketing Network. We also submit a listing feed to , where you can search 'motorzoousa' and see our listings on the Google Network. Here you have examples of almost every type of vehicle that we advertise. The keyword phrases listed above are just 5 out of hundreds and hundreds of keyphrases we currently bid on. We also have specialized software that is capable of submitting short, text-only ads to literally thousands of Internet classifieds... although we don't like to divulge too much information about the software because it seems as though none of our competitors have anything similar yet.

I hope it is a little clearer now what we do for our clients... we understand there is a lot of confusion out there because this is a very new way to advertise. In any industry where something groundbreaking is occurring, it is inevitable for there to be controversy.

If you would like more proof as to what we do, I would like to welcome anyone reading this to call the number listed in any of our ads. What you will encounter is a live Customer Service representative answering the phone. You might also get in touch with Lori, our 'ace in the hole'. Through her 15+ years experience managing professional dealerships, Lori adds a whole other dimension to our service by helping people explore their options with respect to getting maximum value for their trade-ins and rock-bottom wholesale prices on newer vehicles, as an alternative to selling on the open market. She also helps connect buyers with sellers and also assists in negotiations for our clients to help both buyer and seller get the best deal possible.

Again, I invite all of you reading this to do your own investigation of our company. Try us out. Call us, email us, we will be happy to entertain your inquiries. Our contact information may be found here:

Now, I would like to respond specifically to Erika's complaints against our company. Erika worked for us for TWO days, NOT 4, as an Independent Contractor working out of her house. She was contracted to sell our product over the phone, and was made perfectly aware of our policy regarding training: there is a 60-hour (2-week) training period for which we pay a flat sum of $350. After that, home-based Sales Reps are given the opportunity to earn commissions on the advertising packages they sell.

All of this was explained to Erika in detail before she started working with us. With all due respect, I would like to point out that if Erika had actually given the job a fair shot and worked, instead of reading a Ripoff Report originally posted for a totally different company (OneStopMotors.com) and subsequently conducting her own personal investigation, she would have most likely done quite well, finished her training, and been paid. But Erika did not really give us a fair shake; instead she wasted our time and some very valuable leads. If Erika had investigated us BEFORE deciding to start training, then it probably would not have been an issue. However, Erika chose not to work hard and give it her best shot; she chose to read Ripoff Report articles and call companies who we do business with.

It does not surprise me that Erika was unable to receive confirmation of our business relationship with Capitol One, RoadLoans.com, or other companies, because she did not work with us long enough to gain any real knowledge of exactly how we do business with them, besides the fact that Erika worked out of her house. There is no amount of "inside knowledge" that she could gain about our business operations without me or other principals of the company divulging it to her. If she called these companies, she most likely dialed a main line and reached a call center, where I am absolutely sure that no one knows of us. Is it logical to assume that Capitol One's call center agents know about every business that has a commission-based relationship with Capitol One? I don't think so. Does Erika herself know about other Internet-based programs like Commission Junction (www.cj.com)? It does not seem so.

Erika also stated that we do not have a business license in the state of Utah; this is also absolutely untrue. Here I have scanned it in so it is viewable on the Internet:

http://www.motorzoousa.com/utah_business_license.jpg

Our Nevada business license is also available for viewing on the 'About Us' page on our website, as well as our Article of Incorporation, which are sanctioned and approved by the Nevada Secretary of State.

Erika also stated that our ads do not cost remotely as much as what we charge our clients. Again, with all due respect, Erika has no knowledge whatsoever of our actual operational costs, and as such has no basis for her claim. Erika states that she "also did research, the keyword thing they sell does not cost nearly as much as they say it does." I am not sure exactly how much digging she did, but a) we never tell anyone exactly how much keywords cost us, b) we currently have hundreds of keywords active which cost us every time someone clicks on our listing for that keyword. Erika simply has no clue as to how much this really costs us, because that is confidential information anyway and was never divulged to her. For Erika to find out for sure how much keyword advertising costs, she would have to open her own advertiser account and start bidding on keywords. The price of a given keywords constantly changes depending on who is bidding on it... and these costs can quickly skyrocket without careful management. This is an aspect of our business that Erika really knows nothing about.

Erika also knows nothing about whether or not we have actually given any refunds. Of course, we do not make it a common practice to give out cash refunds, and you will find that neither do most successful companies. We DO have a refund policy however, and in fact we HAVE given refunds in the past in very few, isolated cases where we felt the customer had a valid complaint and did not receive proper service. I would like to give out references here as proof, but more than likely it would not be a good reference after that person received the first 50 calls, and secondly, it would not be prudent to make our clients' personal information public, regardless of the reason.

I would also like to address the fact that we do not have a 'spotless' record with the BBB. I am personally aware of this, and and we are working hard to rectify our reputation with the BBB and any other consumer agency. However, I would venture to say that I sometimes wonder if any of the complaints filed with the BBB are a direct result of our competitors attempting to discredit us further. In fact, it is entirely possible that Erika works for, or at some point in time worked for One Stop Motors. When we still had our main sales office in Las Vegas, we did experience a sort of 'corporate espionage.' We noticed a pattern in which former One Stop Motors employees would apply for a position with us stating that they no longer worked for One Stop Motors, and then just about all of them would quit after less than a week. This is just one of the reasons that we moved our entire sales department to Utah, aside from the fact that MotorZooUSA.com does not want to be associated in any way with disreputable businesses.

Erika, please understand that everything stated here is in response to false statements and accusations you have made; no part of my rebuttal is intended to be personal in any way. I actually thought you had a lot of potential, and it is disappointing to see you attempt to take advantage of a situation you really know nothing about. However, despite all of that we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

In summary, I firmly stand behind my company, MotorZooUSA.com, and I take pride in the work we do for Private Sellers who need our help. I invite everyone again to take the time to do your own investigation, and please do compare us to the competition. I think you will find that we are the most helpful of any company in the industry, bar none... and the fact that we are getting so much attention now is actually a bit exciting! MotorZooUSA.com will continue to work hard to offer a product that is genuinely helpful and valuable to the Private Seller of motor vehicles... and if we make waves in the process, then so be it! It is my belief that the used vehicle market is overdue for a shake-down anyway...

Sincerely,

Paul Delgado

AUTHOR: Erika - (U.S.A.)

I recently quit motorzoousa.com. One they do mislead customers. they do no work with ANY of the lending companies etc etc they say they do. i contacted them all. They are charging customers 200-500 for an add that does not even remotely cost that much money. i also did research, the keyword thing they sell does not cost nearly as much as they say it does.

i worked 4 days with them because i started realizing things. now they are refusing to pay me for working for them. because i didnt complete the full 60 hrs.im not going to complete the full 60 hrs with a company that is ripping people off.they tried to get me to stay with them because they knew i would post on here and turn them into the labor commsioner and bbb. they are also saying i didnt do my job, because out of 200 calls i got 5 leads. i have phone records to back my calls up. most the people i called (which they get their numbers from autotrader.com) had already sold their cars. or taken the add out awhile ago.

they are simply ripping people off. they have a business liscense for NEVADA they are located in UTAH.so the liscense is not valid. second, read through their terms and conditions. THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON WHAT SO EVER. bad business practice.

im glad i quit working for motorzoousa.com. if i were you, NEVER GO THROUGH THEM.

OneStopMotors provides everything they say they will.

AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

Barry from New Jersey says that OneStopMotors' (OSM)rebuttal is as deceptive as our service. Sorry Barry but nothing could be further from the truth. OSM responds to Barry's lettered points here:

A) All of OSM sales associates are monitored on a regular basis to ensure that what Barry is insinuating does not happen. Their very well could have been someone listening to the very conversation that Barry is commneting on. Does anyone know for sure? No. OSM does not record conversations.

B) Barry can argue semantics all he wants, but the bottom line is he PAID for a service to be performed on July 14.

C) Barry readily admits to agreeing to the terms and conditions that OSM operates under. He claims that he did so under fraud and deception yet he has provided no support for that claim other than generalities and unthruths about what he was told.

OSM has received nothing from the Nevada Attorney General regarding Barry's statements.

D) Our customer service team works extremely hard in their attempts to put potential buyers in caontact with our clients. They explain exactly how everything works to anyone that calls and they make any changes that our clients request on their advertising. If a client has a concern about their existing campaign, then they work with them to resolve it.

E) Barry may have a different definition of beligerant than the person he was speaking to, but the fact remains that verbal abuse is not something that has to be tolerated by any customer service associate.

In closing Barry, our sales practices are not deceptive and neither is the way we do business. Our sales associates have no special powers to extract payment information for our services or to even prevent someone who does not wish to purchase our services from simply hanging up the phone. Once someone has purchased our services they are like any other advertising services available anywhere, there are no refunds. Advertising is not a product that can simply be returned for credit, it is work, that once done cannot be "undone".

To Withheld - withheld, California:

If you would simply call the customer service number of once stop motors we would be happy to place you on the do not call list that we maintain.

Delores,

OSM is in NO WAY associated with MotorZooUSA. As we vacated the office complex in the commercial center, a FORMER EMPLOYEE formed that company and moved back into that address. Again, OSM is NOT associated with MotorZooUSA in any way.

I am also a victim to this scam. I reported a seperate report for motorzoousa on this website. I thought i was the only one with this problem. That $400 bucks was all i had. I am a full time college student with no job. My parents dont just give me money so that was my a*s. Why cant we file a lawsuit against these guys. I know we can't classify it as a federal offense because with everyone put together on this site, it will not amount to $75,000, which is the bare minimum for federal cases. It can be held in state court, and also it can be held in the plantiff's state due to the In-personum jurisdiction which has minimun contacts. We can get our money back as well as sue these scam artists for all they are worth.

EXACTLY what "advertising" do you provide. In what publications? You simply put the bogus URL from your bogus "website" in a few search engines which will never even get seen.

One Stop Motors, Motor Zoo USA, and National Auto Shopper related in some way?

AUTHOR: Douglas - (U.S.A.)

I was called by Motor Zoo USA and declined their service. However, my wife was ripped off by a company named National Auto Shopper. She fell for their sales pitch and signed up with them. I wish I would have warned her.

Their M.O. was exactly like the others mentioned in this complaint. Their sales tactics, right down to their web sites are _very_ similar, almost identical in form and function. I did some quick research and found out that these three "companies" are within five miles of each other in Las Vegas. Hmmmm.

I would not recommend doing business with any of these people.

Worthless service, IMO.

I believe the name has changed to MotorzooUSA, but the addr, sales pitch, and sales techniques sound the same

I believe the company has a different name now, "MotorzooUSA", and for some reason no longer uses credit cards, only electronic bank drafts. Everything else sounds the same right down to the addr of 953 E Sahara, suite 238, although I notice that the old name "One Stop Motors" has it's own website and a different addr. Everything else is on target right down to the customer service guy, Tom. I thought this would be a good job, but started getting bad vibes from all the complaints I was receiving when I contacted people who were "supposedly" interested in our svc. When I initially checked it out on ripoff report I found nothing under Motorzoo USA. Guess things take awhile to catch up to a new name.

Please let your reps know we are not "obligated" to return their unsolicited phone calls. Common sense should tell them that if I don't call back, I'm not interested, so stop calling.

So, as a business owner I'm sure you want to believe your employees are representating your company with professionalism, however with my expereinces with recieving these unsolicited calls, my advise to you is to reevaluate your employess because they are giving your company a bad name.

The Rebuttal of owner Rob Wilder of One Stop Motors is as deceptive as his service.

AUTHOR: Barry - (U.S.A.)

Here are some key points supporting this.

A) Since Rob was never on the phone with me either during the high pressure pitch sales phone call, my numerous complaint calls or with his cocky customer service guy all he knows is second hand. He will of course defend his deceptive practice and his people.

B) He said I solicited his service on July 14, False, his salesmen James Beck did a cold phone call on me. I never knew of this firm or even of their existance in Nevada.

C) Yes, I did fill out their agreement but under a false promise and outright misrepresentation of what they could do for me. You see Rob, I take full responsibility for agreeing to your service but when you get someone to agreee to something with fraud and deception then what they sign is not valid.

The attorney general of Nevada will explain that to you shortly.

D)You say your customer service people are helpful, I say they are there to support and continue your deceptive practices while stringing alone customers that you fooled into paying you.

E) I was not beligerant to your customer service guy, I calmly explained that if I do not get my money back, I would be filing a complaint with the Attorney General of Nevada and the local BBB.

In closing Rob, your sales practices and business is deceptive, your advertising is overpriced and does not work, your coustomer service is designed to keep the money and continue to deceive and your agreement is non-binding if it is entered into with deceptive selling practices. I want my money back. I have filed and claim with my credit card to take back the money from One Stop Motors and have filed claims with the Nevada Attorney Gemeral and BBB.

#40 REBUTTAL Owner of company

One Stop Motors.com Response

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

This rebuttal is to protest the complaint submitted by Barry (last name withheld). Barry solicited the services of One Stop Motors on July 14th, 2004. Barry expressed interest in selling his 1965 Lincoln Continental and 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood using One Stop Motors financing and marketing program. In short, One Stop Motors works with those that have experienced difficulty in selling their vehicles. When enlisting in our program, sellers receive not only custom marketing tools, but full-time in-house finance and customer service teams as well. All of these services are available at the sellers' disposal until the vehicle sells. One Stop Motors charges a one time fee to cover the cost of building their web page in addition to initial and future marketing costs incurred.

Barry not only agreed to use our services, but he also agreed to our one time advertising fee. Information such as mileage, vehicle features, and certain financial details related to the automobile and more was provided to us on the day he agreed to our advertising program. Fulfilling our commitment to Barry, we immediately began an internet advertising campaign to help sell his cars. The costs involved in this campaign are measurable not only in advertising fees, bandwidth and hosting fees, but in man hours as well. In total, these costs far exceed his contribution.

In his statement, Barry claims that he received a high-pressure phone call to list his vehicles for sale on our website. One Stop Motors does not, and has not ever engaged in high-pressure sales techniques. We believe that this is a common excuse used by people who don't want to take responsibility for their part in a business agreement.

Barry goes on, in his complaint, to say that when he called our customer service office to complain about a lack of response to his listings that our customer service team tried to talk him out of his complaint. This is patently false. In the event that a customer calls regarding lack of interest in their listings our customer service representatives are trained to first and foremost to review the customer's ad for quality (i.e. clear pictures showing necessary details, is the ad copy descriptive and appealing?).

The pricing, ad copy, and photographs are the responsibility of the seller and although our staff is always available to give helpful suggestions and advice the end result is always up to the seller. Once the ad has been reviewed the customer service representative then asks the seller about his pricing. For instance, is it in line with what other similar vehicles are selling for? By the time all of these criteria pass review to the satisfaction of the customer service representative and the seller we have gone well above and beyond in fulfilling our part of our advertising agreement with the seller.

The last thing in Barry's rebuttal that we want to address is his assertion that he was told, we do not care This is an outright falsification of the conversation he had with our customer service representative Thomas. When Barry initially called Thomas tried to work with him to see if there was a reason that he had not received response from his listings. Barry became uncooperative and said to Thomas, You are young and energetic and may want to help me but I am old and have lots of money.

When asked for clarification about this comment Barry became belligerent and began threatening complaints to the Nevada Attorney General, The Better Business Bureau, his credit card company, and the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. When a customer becomes excessively belligerent and uncooperative with our customer service team the representative is trained to inform the customer that they are free to pursue any legal avenues they feel they need, that if a refund is not forthcoming to reiterate that fact, and to politely terminate the telephone conversation. We are confident that Thomas handled this issue with professionalism and tact while faced with a hostile individual. Barry did not qualify for a refund of his setup fee under the terms of our advertising agreement.

In closing we would like to say that One Stop Motors.com fulfilled its advertising agreement with Barry and we will continue to do so by advertising Barry's vehicle until it is sold.

Many Thanks,

Rob Wilder, OSM inc.
