I just finished sitting through an informative seminar about making money on the Internet using strategies developed by (supposedly) self-made millionaire Anthony Morrison. It sounded interesting at first, but I got to be very suspicious when A) They wanted you to pay today for a three day class that would teach you all the ins-and-outs of the system, and B) the free meal they promised to us was a box lunch instead of a hot meal. I told one of the employees that was there to assist the main speaker that I'm on a very strict budget, and that I couldn't afford the $1,490.00 they wanted people to pay if they could pay today (if people could not pay today, the fee would be $2,995.00). They agreed to let me have a discount, which was still a lot of money for someone like myself, being on disability. By the way, I told them I'm on disability and on a very strict budget, and that is the reason they offered me a discount, but they actually wanted me to ask my bank for a loan! What if I didn't make the thousands of dollars they promised I'd be able to make in the first few months--I wouldn't be able to repay my loan, and I'd be in deep crap. I almost signed up, and actually had signed some forms, but then I changed my mind, and was made to feel like I was a stupid loser for not agreeing to put myself in further debt and take their 3 day course. If you get an invitation in the mail that says Anthony Morrison's company, Online Strategies, will pay for you to have a meal and present their millionaire-making secrets to you at a local hotel, do yourself a huge favor and tear it up!
