Onlingo needs to learn honest language before selling fraudulent foreign language - never received free trial but still charged Internet

I answered some type of add for getting a free lap top. After I went thru several things saying I had to buy stuff to get it I cancelled my transaction. In the midst of this I had said ok to the "free trial" of onlingo. Before I got off the computer I had been charged a shipping fee. I was unable to locate a phone number ANYWHERE to stop this transaction so I waited for the product. This was in the latter part of 2007, I have yet to receive anything from them EXCEPT they debited 69.95 from my account on 01/17/08 and the phone number they had listed along with this charge is not even a valid phone number, it goes to some title company. After searching on the internet I came across MANY web pages where others have reported this rip off/scam company and how they have been ripped off on one of these sites I found a phone number for Onlingo and they proceeded to tell me the ONLY way to get my money back was to return the free trial...ha ha ha I asked them how was I to return something that I never received and they told me to contact the post office. I called the post office with the tracking # I was given and they said since Onlingo sent it NO RECEIOPT required there was no way to find it...so I called back to Onlingo and they said oh so sorry but you lose. Without that we can only give you part of a refund BUT we can sell you some more Onlingo things that you will probably not receive either...

Thanks for nothing...this company is an extremely BIG rip off and I will make sure that everyone I can talk to will be aware of this

Onlingo Still not valid

Apparently someone from Onlingo replied to my ripoff report stating-VICKI please call and let us assist you with this matter. WELL I have been calling that number for 2 FULL days and the ONLY time that number will go through is apparently AFTER business hours. I call and call and call and keep getting a recording that says, Im sorry your call didnt go thru please try and call later so I keep calling "later" over and over again and finally after calling for 4 hours on 01/23/08 I finally get it to actually ring but then guess what I get a recording that says Our business hours are such and such please call back during our business hours, so I began calling today 01/24/08 and this cycle began all over again....I have called 17 times already today and get the same recording "Im sorry your call did not go through please try your ccall again later. So to me this means that someone "replied" to my report just to make the company look good however I believe they have absolutely NO INTENTION of helping me with this matter. I still have not recieved ANY product form this company, I have spoke to the post office and they say since the company sent it regular mail there is no way to track it so this company just keeps taking money from my account bouncing charges all over the place which leaves me my only option is to CLOSE my account, report this as a fradulent debit and have to open up another account then I have to contact all the legit people that I electronically pay. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT LEARNING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE....DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They will only rip you off and leave you with days of work to get your life straight again.
