Optics Planet Shipped and billed unauthorized order, refused to pay return shipping Internet

I placed an order for several items from Optics Planet. The next day they sent an email indicating that the item was on indefinite back order.  I sent a return email canceling the order, and obtained it from another supplier.

A month later they billed my credit card for the order and shipped it via UPS.  After four phone calls they eventually agreed to take the shipment back, but refused to pay for the full amount of return freight.

Fraudulent billing, terrible customer service.  Upon searching the internet I find scores of similar complaints.  It seems as if company policy is to annoy as many customers as possible.
