Orange County Pool and Spa The Owner of Orange County Pool and Spa Harassed Me, Internet

On July 8, 2012, I had Orange County Pool and Spa come to provide routine service to my spa.I also had a burned out light. When the serviceman quoted me $150 to replace the light, a price I deemed too high, I asked him a couple of questions regarding how I could do the job myself, still intending that he perform the other routine service I had requested. The serviceman was extremely rude and condescending after I asked him the two questions regarding how to replace the light myself. When the serviceman left, I immediately called to company to complain, and they never returned my call. I then wrote a testimonial on their website as their website requests. In it, I stated the facts as I described them above and concluded that the serviceman's behavior was quite bizarre and the company does not seem to regard customer service highly. I then received this email response from OCPS that I copied verbatim:

"You are harassing us with your comments. Be warned any future communications, reviews, attempts to contact will be forwarded to our attorney, we will seek a restraining order and sue you for defamation and trade libel. We choose to do no further work and have every right to refuse service to you.

I thought this bullying was pretty outrageous behavior for someone who asked a question about a spa light. So, I sent them an email back:

"Please be advised that your website invited me to comment upon the service from OCPS. Defamation requires that a publication is made that is false. The facts I stated in my comment are true. Trade libel also requires that comments made are false. An attorney should understand these terms.

Be advised that any further communication with me will be considered harassment."

I immediately received another email back! I couldn't believe it! Here it is:
"You're a complete joker! Go to la county court records. We won a harassment suit last year of $155k against david hynes for posting falsely. Brea pd will be called, a police report will be filed and you will find yourself in superior court if you defame or contact us again. Get a life!

I then received another email from another OCPS employee:

"Anthony, stop communicating with this loser!!! File a report with Brea PD tomorrow morning and block his email addresses against all of ours when you get in the office. Then call my buddy Randy at lsis investigations to start a background check on this clown. Find out everything, credit, job, assets, criminal. If there's any more harassment, emails, or reviews we'll file a TRO and sue him Monday morning. He has too much free time and thinks we're obligated to work

I am guessing "Brian" is the owner. This behavior is exceptionally odd for someone who was asked a question about a pool light. It makes me wonder about the mental stability of the owner, or perhaps the owner is simply acting as a very young, inexperiened and spoiled child. Beware of this company! The people there scare me.
