Corporate Advocacy Program™
Be very careful when singing any agreement with this Orange Theory Location in Scottsdale on Mayo.
Their billing practices are shady at best. If you sign up for a monthly program, they make it very hard to cancel and will try to ding your even after you cancel your membership. I got a few pulls in class, no fault of the instructors, I am just out of shape. But when I tried to cancel my monthly membership, they make you come in to the location and will not do it over the phone. They then make you sign a paper, and in ultra tiny print, it says that it will not take effect for 30 days. They then ding you for the entire month. Real nice. These types of nefarious billing practices are simply designed to steal from unsuspecting customers like you. They say you can of course continue to use the membership for the remaining 30 days, which is a moot point if you cannot train there anymore because of an injury. Or simply do not want to take there classes anymore.
That said, I hope this helps any unsuspecting folks. If you are going to take classes there, dont let them do an auto-debit. They will make it tricky to get out. And believe me they will push you to do it it. This way they are guaranteed to steal anothe $150 from you when you attempt to cancel. In a time where business are trying to get more members, you would think they would be more respectful of your hard earned dollars. The Scottsdale Orange Theory Location does not. In fact, they seemed to pride themselves on the shady policy.
The good news is there are plently of honest fitness organizations in Scottsdale, so you can save yourself an extra $150 of your hard earned dollars and not be scammed by Scottsdale Orange Theory Location owne by Bobbe Ariano. Good luck and go loose weight, not your wallet!

Buyer Beware Note that the person that responded to my
nefarious and unethical billing practices alert did not clarify who they are.
Furthermore, if the author is Bobbe Ariano, I am sure you are going to bed
tonight with your pockets stuffed with all your members cash. You are no better than the 1,000s of
internet scammers that try to sneak in as many charges as they can before
someone catches them or takes the time and calls their bank for a charge back.
All you did was edify what I posted about your locations at
Orange Theory Fitness in Scottsdale owned by Bobbe Ariano. Just because you write something in an
agreement does not mean that it is compliant with consumer rights law. In any event, I am not going to discuss this
topic any further with the scammer that responded to my post. Go ahead, continue your lame billing
practices. You wont be stealing from me
anymore, and I am sure that there are intelligent savvy consumers that this
will protect as well.
Fellow Fitness enthusiasts Keep youe are earned dollars and
go to a health club that sis respectful.
There are plenty out there.

At Orangetheory Fitness we are open and honest with all of our members and we take pride in thoroughly explaining the details of our membership with every customer. We do not have "fine print" in our contracts. In fact, all of our cancelation terms are in bold and require a customer initial. Our contract policies are not "shady" or misleading, every term is explained to the future member and the signature, as with any contract, allows us (as a business) to verify that our customers understand the safety regulations and payment terms. We have hundreds of happy members and we are very sorry for your misunderstanding of the membership.
