I am a ontime pay or.
I had chosen this credit card to help re establish my credit after my daughter had fallen ill and a divorce. I pay on time, consistently and more than one time a month. I accidentally over paid and it froze my account for 14 days. I was told that they don't like when customers who pay, over pay or pay ontime, because they rely on people being late so they can stick them with the all the additional fee's. I asked what happened to the money I over paid as it does not show on my statement and they could not answer me, so now someone somewhere has my over payment.
I recently made my payment online of course did not overpay it and some how the system enrolled me in auto payment. This morning I had $181 available my payment went through for $200 and now imp negative -$236? One might ask how this is possible, so I called and dealt with a very rude uneducated sounding lady by the name Lashorn ID number HCS2XO and she told me too bad she wouldn't release the hold I should have paid by money order. Why should I be encouraged to pay by money order they have a online website and my moneys comes right out of my checking and its tracable.
So how could this be Im not over my limit I didn't use my card this morning I had an available balance of $181.00 and now that error they made the bank has more of my money that will end up missing and now I cant use my card at all.
Everytime I asked a question, everytime I asked for help all she could say is Im not helping you and I couldn't help clear overpayment release that was their fault. I even tried to get her to explain even if I overpaid how did it end up negative -$236 when really technically it should be Positive by $386.00 she repeated the same auto line. So I asked who her supervisor was she said no one and that no one will help me. SO I asked again for her supervisors names she said no one is going to help you. I clearified that there was no one else I could speak too she told me "I can not release the payment" so I stated top her my disappointment at her attitude and this situation unbelievable and that I had never experienced such poor customer service. Especially for a customer who has a great track record. But that's the problem they don't get to make all that money off me.
If you plan on trying to re- establish your credit definitely do not use Orchard Bank, the best places to go are normal banks like 53 bank they have secured credit cards and the bank employs intelligent and helpful people, their fees are normal and no one trys to screw you.
