I called the CSR 503-293-4037 spoke to a young lady (this one i did not write down) and said if the calls were going to continue or increase after I opted out I wpuld cponsider cancelling the card.
I checked my bank statement as my disability check came in (I am disabled) paid 20.00 by electonic check. I called to activate card only to find out card had been cancelled. The calls had stopped also of cpourse they could not charge a closed card. I was not informed nor had I requested tht card be closed.
I called the next mornign Talked to Manny who told me the card had been closed on the 01/05/2007 by my request I asked why since they had paymnet and their was a credit of $1.00 on my account. Mannay said he would request the card beopened but could not guareentee it it would take 10 business days.
I asked for a supervisor Jeremy was his name asked for the card to be reinstated because I hd not requested it be closed. He told me it could not I had to re apply then I asked for my money back was told by Jeremy it would take 3-5 business days to get the other 19 dollars back and I would have to call back to get it. I asked for interest he said he would not argue with me about the interest they would not pay for free use of my money.
i asked him who was the Rep who closed my card Jeremy would not supply the name. (this time I took notes) I sent an email to the Federal Reseve Bank of San Fransico as this company is in Salinas CA. i sent the identical email to the BBB and to the Florida State Attorney General and a copy to Orchard bank who responded with this email: Dear
