I just received a notice that they are raising my interest rate to 29.99%!!! Supposedly this is based on something being reported to Experian. When I tried calling the number on the letter, it goes to an India call center where they tell me they'll have to send a letter explaining why the rate increased. The person said that it was happening to all Orchard Bank cardholders.
I'll be cancelling this account - it's not worth it. I have cards with higher limits and better rates elsewhere for longer.
