I layed on a mattress foam and firm in the store and it seemed to be ok but when they delivered it and I slept on it the first night the mattress was hard as a rock. I called the store and they claimed they needed permission to exchange it for something else. I went into the store and layed on the pillowtop foam mattress which I was told would cost me an additional one hundred dollars.
I paid it and set up removal of the old mattress and acceptance of the new one. When I slept on the new pillowtop foam mattress it had a sink hole in it and my bones felt like they were going to break. The middle of the bed had a mountain that my legs had to climb each night as I tried to make myself comfortable. I found myself night after night unable to sleep and cried in the middle of the night.

I called the store and they referred me to customer service. The young lady there named Denice told me My warrenty did not provide for exchange without investigation of the mattress by an outside provider. I agreed to have this company investigate the mattress which took another two weeks of me having to sleep on the sunken mattress. When the Ortho Mattress Company got the report back from their outside mattress investigation provider the report said that the mattress did not have enough damage to it to be conserned. Well I kept at them and they said they will exchange it. I have been going through this exchange thing since June 23, 2009 which is a month. I finally got a date for an exchange. I was also told the addidtional money I spent for the mattress pillowtop was for the exchange and not applied to the cost of the mattress. I said to Denice how come you are the one explaining all these terms. How come your sales people did not tell me all these things before I purchased the mattress and you told me the cost would be an additional amount delivery and another one hundred for the mattress but now you said the money was for the exchange and not the cost of the mattress. Liar, Liar, Liar ! I will be taking this company to court to get my money back. If any one of you want to join me in a class Action suit against this company I all for it. 213-xxx-xxxx(((REDACTED)))

The customer purchased a mattress that was inspected by Integrated Bedding group. The customer exchanged to another mattress. If the customer is complaining that the mattress she reselected is also defective, I would like to offer this customer a free mattress inspection. Once the mattress has been inspected and if the mattress is deemed to be defective, Ortho mattress will
exchange the mattress for another mattress of equal value. The customer simply has to call
the Customer Service Warranty department Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm. The contact number
(888) 499-6784 ext 202.
