I bought a 2005 Chevy Malibu, BRAND NEW on January 21, 2005. Not even a month after the purchase, the car began to have serious brake problems, such as rotators worping, pads wearing down after 1,200 miles. I have had the car in the shop at least 6 times just for the brakes, then the steering unit had to be replaced due to a clunking noise, the radio ate my cd's and had to be replaced, the back of the passenger seat broke 2xs, the visor clip broke 3 times and just recently the check engine lite has been on twice in one week and then the heater element. We are talking about a car that has been in the shop approx 17 times in one year. I contacted GM several times and they didn't have time for me and just denied my claim. Not willing to put me in another car or even work with me on these issues knowing the car is still under warranty. This is the worst place to buy a car, please BEWARE, their customer DOES NOT come first.
