at its best!

I purchased a new CD player a few days ago and it arrived broken and damaged. I bought this as a "new item" and it was not listed by Overstock as used, damaged, or open.

The shipping box was in perfect condition. I assume they knew the broken and damaged condition when the item was placed in the shipping box. The item was in a very beat-up box that appears re-opened and re-closed several times. Obviously not in new condition.

It appears the item was really an opened/returned/damaged item, not new, and not worth the $120 I paid. I can purchase this item new for $142.95 and get better customer service. Why would I pay $120 for a broken CD player?

Overstock.com needs to return my money, pick up their damaged item, and correct the false claim, showing the item as new.
