Overstock.com Returns are a scam, cheap products and poor customer service overstock.com Internet

I have bought from Overstock for a few years. In that time I have had to return things, I have received cheap quality items and once I had to fight to not pay for the return package. But I would say 97% of the time they are great! I find things there I can not find in a store. I do not have to spend a lot of time or gas looking for interesting clothes or shoes or furniture. You do have to be a good shopper though. Not everything is of the highest quality. Read the reviews written about the product and read the description before you buy. If you are charged unfairly for a return contact Overstock they will work it out with you as long as you are civil. You have to advocate for your self as you do anywhere, but it is worth it. When the boxes come to my door it is great fun opening them up especially when I have forgotten what I ordered. Like I said there are some cheap items, it the price is too good to be true it probably is!

I had a problem with some returns which they shaved more than $10 off for shipping. When I went through their live chat, the CSR adjusted it and returned full shipping costs when I asked. So they are trying to be more customer oriented. I would even order from them again. Just look at the items a little more carefully and read the return policy three times.
