I am an EX-Employee of Paragon Acura of Woodisde Queens.

I read on this website a fellow ex-employee write about how he was given the run around when it came to discussing Pay ....etc.

I started working there in Jan. of 08 and Allan Blad told me that I would be making money I have never made before, anyway I worked 6 days a week for them and didnt see a difference in my check as to when i worked 5 days a week, they basically had me there one day FREE!
I brought this up to my Boss, which is Jeff Pasenkoff, He is the Manager to SERVICE,,, they all seemed so Scared and Shook of Mr.Blad, not me hell no!!

One night I was closing up my Cash Drawer, and I had just finish dropping of Cookies to the sales dept. (mind you service closed @ 6pm.) I never got out of there on time, nor did I recieve Comp. for working past my time.
So it was exactly 6:08pm, I walked back to my desk and Allan came over and asked me if I was making cookies for the Service, I told him that the Service Dept. was closed why would I need to put cookies out for NO ONE....he told me I had nothing better to do,,,I told him off I told him that How does he know what I do after work,,,He seemed so demeaning towards me , I felt because I am a minority and he saw me as a young adult whom didnt know anything,,,

Second Incident, I was out sick with a bad cold in April, I brought in a Doctors note to cover me, when I arrived at work, I was told that my position was looking to be filled in. I heard this from another dept. in Acura...So I brought it up to Allan , I guess he didnt like the fact that I was aware of this process, so he told me to leave for the rest of the day...I was fumming so I told him that I was leaving indefinately.

Then I waited for my last check, for a month I kept calling them and they kept giving the run around, then they would always transfer me to the ACCounting dept. and I would get a rude lady named Jennifer Bailey. OMG, can they get anymore ghetto.

I waited a month for a check of 300 dollars, they jipped me two days,,,I mean they are so unorganized with there employess and there customers they should be officially closed down!!!!
