What happens if that piece of shit company goes belly up? WOW.. Can you imagine that? Well it can certainly happen.
I want to highly recommend to anyone who is considering using Paypal because it is the preferred method of the other criminals at Ebay.. DON"T DO IT! DO NOT OPEN A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. Find another solution. Why? 1. They have the absolute worst customer service in the world. 2. They hold your money. They make the rules on this and may feed you one of their many lines of bullshit. Banking is electronic. There is absolutely no reason for them to hold funds once received. 3. They make their own rules. As I stated above... THEY ARE NOT A BANK... THEY DO NOT NEED TO FOLLOW ANY RULES! They make up their own crappy rules 4. THEY ARE NOT FDIC. Your money is not insured. 5. They keep your records. They have your bank accounts, credit cards, and all your personal information. How scary is that? If they get hacked or an employee steels files your entire financial future is at risk.
Folks, please heed my advice. Take it from someone who has had enough bad experiences with them to know. Stay away from PayPal. It a banking deathtrap! You may want to avoid Ebay also since they own PayPal... Same horrible customer service. They make the rules and could care less about anything other than collecting their fees. DO NOT sign up for the Ebay "Connect" service run by GE Money. That too is a complete scam and ripoff. You could hit with as much as 60% interest in one month if they ding you for the late fee. Ebay has become the pawn shop of the internet anyway. 80% of the stuff on their is used, damaged or stolen. Together these institutions make up one of the largest ripoffs in world!

The outlaw and why rants are bad

The OP has made an un-referenced, Un-evidenced rant that borders on unbalanced.
The real issue is that this type of posting makes the issue harder to bring to the attention of people who can hold E-Bay and Paypal accountable.
Any body who reads this mess and then tries to raise the same type of concern will be considered another nut case like the OP.
SO as usual the Outlaw misses the point of a Rebut, and demonstrates why I try to rebut every one of his posts. Fun Fun Fun till daddy takes the Key Board Awayyy

Please cite the source of this "information." If they kept your money, what "B.S." reason did they give you? I've used PayPal and of course Ebay MANY times with no problems whatsoever. No, I DON'T work for them....never have.
