While trying to locate the individual who sent an anonymous text, i tried LookupAnyone's reverse lookup service. For .99 cents. i was to be able to get the name of the owner of a particular phone number, whom their website said they had the info on. I agreed and gave me credit card info and promptly received an email receipt thanking me for my order. And I was informed that $4.95 would be billed to my card. If that weren't enough, my "report" turned up no information on the phone number i was trying to track down. i immediately emailed customer service at LookupAnyone and received an apology and a promise of a refuned. Two days later the company, PeopleLookUp billed my account for $19.95.
