I am finally getting this package sent off this afternoon. I wanted to share it with all of you consumers and I pray that it will keep you from getting ripped off! Please let me know if anyone out there got their money refunded or what happened when you sent your package back! (I also kept a log of all my phone calls/e-mails to them with names/dates/times, etc.; which I attached to my letter):

RE: Request for Refund on Unauthorized Order totaling $78.33; Delivered USPS First Class Mail, Pkg. ID #33320201, 0 lbs. 2 oz., Bar Code 420 32207 9101 9005 6600 1001 4936 50, Electronic Rate Approved # 900566001, and for the sample that was never received for $1.87 for S&H = $80.20 TOTAL REFUND (RMA # 2100641 and/or RMA # 1278831-2100641)

I finally received the above unauthorized order today in my mailbox. I was going to return it to you unopened and request/require a signed receipt from you, but the USPS and UPS both stated that they need a physical address, which you were unwilling to supply when I called you on 11-17-08 @ 2:28 PM (estimated wait time was 22 minutes; and finally talked with Marcy, Customer Service Associate/Agent, who would not give me a physical address and said they only give and use the post office box. I told her I was not surprised, because that is how they probably try to get around issuing refunds to consumers. She assured me that they issue refunds every day. Well, I am going to see if she was telling me the truth, but I am getting a stamped and dated receipt from USPS to show that I sent this package back to them. I am attaching this letter, along with other attachments of correspondence with you, for a total of five (5) pages, to the unopened package and placing it inside a small box; with RMA #s listed on the outside of the box. I also have pictures of the unopened package that I am keeping for my records. If I don't receive a prompt refund, all my copies of everything will go to the proper authorities for their further action(s) against you; added to what I have already sent to them. To date I have not received the sample that I paid for either ($1.87). (I received the $78.33 small package in this afternoon's mail in a plastic bag in my mailbox, at around 1:45 PM! If the acai is that expensive and valuable, {$78.33, for what I guessed is less than 30 Acai Berry Supplements, from the sound and feel of the bottle inside the plastic packaging}, why would you send it USPS First Class Mail and not have it signed for? That doesn't even make good business sense, but I have a good idea now of what kind of scam you are perpetrating on us consumers; and that is why you don't list a physical address, etc.; I have a hunch that, without the physical address, you don't have to acknowledge receipt of return shipments and make refunds, and that is how you make your illicit and unethical monies!) To add insult to injury, I just found out, from reading all the complaints against you, I understand that there are only 10 pills in the bottle for $78.33! That is such an unbelievable ripoff; and that's putting it mildly!

I am requesting that I be reimbursed for the sample of $1.87 that I did not receive, and the unauthorized shipment, that I did not authorize to have debited from my checking account, of $78.33, for a total of $80.20 to be reimbursed to me ASAP.

I find your practices to be very unethical, to say the least, and I know that I am not the only consumer you have done this to; the internet is full of complaints about your company and its unethical practices; you rip people off and scam them and don't think twice about it; I don't know how you people sleep at night! How would you feel if it was done to you or your family? I only wish that I would have checked into your company beforehand! I entrusted you to just send me a sample and debit the S&H for it ($1.87) from my account; not to debit a full shipment ($78.33) that was unauthorized! That is highway robbery, and for something you just require sending in the regular mail! What you did was unconscionable, to say the least!

I am a senior citizen, and ordering this product for the extravagant amount you charge is not something I would do as I am on a fixed income. I would also not order it because I never even received the sample to try it first! I EXPECT TO RECEIVE FULL REIMBURSEMENT ASAP FOR THE $80.20; AND
E-MAIL ME WHEN YOU HAVE DONE SO. YOU WERE NOT AUTHORIZED TO DEBIT FROM MY ACCOUNT TO BEGIN WITH, AND ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO DEBIT FROM MY ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME IN THE FUTURE. MY CREDIT UNION HAS BEEN NOTIFIED AND IS VERY AWARE OF YOU AND YOUR COMPANY, AS WELL AS THE FTC, FCC, AND BBB!!!!
