PHH Mortgage is unethical, malicious, and down right criminal in their activities of stealing homes for profit.


PHH with hold funds, at first claiming they didn't get funds and then refusing to post funds or send funds back.


I have a FHA loan, of which FHA is supposed to help with problems with PHH (YEAH RIGHT), FHA gets the run around from this company too. FHA rules are very clear but PHH doesnt follow them.


I missed two payments, not in order. One in May 2009 & one in September 2009. I paid May. I tried to pay September but they sent the money back requesting a higher amount for $3043.45 "as soon as possible" at the end of October 2009. I sent $4151.94. PHH sent back $999.42 of that not the $3152.52. PHH didnt post any of the money I sent. Instead, PHH put my house in foreclosure.


I called PHH and got referred to their attorneys. I filed a BBB complaint, in which PHH admitted to violating FHA regulations about not placing a FHA loan in foreclosure until the owner has missed 3 consecutive payments. I didnt miss those payments. PHH attorney stating, "You should not be in foreclosure...call the company or file an Intent to cure, once you make your December 2009 payment, you should be caught up". I paid that and sent back the money PHH sent back to me via Western Union. Total $5164.61. PHH has not posted anything and still have me in foreclosure status.


I sent a qualified written request to PHH and still no response. PHH is set to sell my home at auction 3/31/2010. HOW? I did everything they asked.


The government really needs to get on the ball especially since this company is dealing with FHA loans first hand. If there is any body out there thats doing a class action. Let me know. I would love to be apart of it. Or if there is a attorney that reads this site. HELP US.

Hello "she" and other customers that have had their rights violated by PHH,

Did you hear about the homeowner that was just awarded $16M from PHH Mortgage yesterday by a Court in Sacramento, CA as a result of loan modification and foreclosure abuses?  If not, here's the link and use it to your advantage as leverage to get what you need from PHH mortgage!  

I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks like Bank of America or Wells Fargo that are "too big to fail" but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need.  The debt collectors like PHH, SPS, SLS, GreenTree, Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just scumbags but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.  

It pains me that you have fallen victim to the unfair, deceptive and abusive practices of PHH but I commend you for asserting your rights...too often homeowners do not fight for their consumer and constitutional rights!  With that said, I would like to shed some light on just how important it is to take your fight outside of the mortgage lender or servicer to the CFPB and/or other government agencies that will actually hold the lender or mortgage servicer accountable on your behalf by simply submitting a complaint after a proper QWR; you do have rights and I would be more than happy to educate you as to how to fight for your rights.  My firm routinely seeks out complaints online so that we can educate as to how to fight back on our weekday show called "The Daily Complaint" where we review a complaint and how to tackle it successfully.

This Phh Mortgage Company has been ripped me off my housing mortage in 2012 -2013 for monthly payment of 2 month ( in the amount of $7,707.35 )

I have monthly payments from my Bank of American to pove it that I always paid on time and never miss out any payments

I found this out when  i closed the Loan with NJ Housing and Mortage Finace Agencey on 6/6/2013 who financial helped my payment for 1 year.

In June 2014 I have to regain my finalcial mortgage with this Phh Mortgage Company I feel that this copmany should be investigage throughly

I too am a victim of PHH. I truly hope your home gets saved. My story is the most recent post. My sale date is in March as well.
PHH acted like they would help us, and at the last minute, they are choosing to sell our home. They were very misleading. I just want to tell you to have your attorney contact me if you are suing them. They seem to be in the business of stealing people's dreams. I am all for bringing them down. If I am contacted by an attorney, I will refer them to you as well. Good luck! I will be praying for justice.
