The names identified as this so-called "company" are bogus and non-existent. Whether it be PIV Corporation, YLD-Corporation, SONISA Group, and Atlantic Bank LTD., all their websites are identical.

These people are posting clerical, administrative, and various Office Work positions on Craigslist and other employment seeking websites.

When you respond to their employment posting, eg to apply for the job by sending your resume, you instantly receive an email stating you need to go to a particular website, obtain your credit report, and send 'just the score' to them in order to even be considered for the position.

This is very much a violation of the FCRA and likely EEOC!! Pre-employment credit checks require both a written disclosure and must have your written consent!! These people are having you go to the a specific 'free credit report website' which will do nothing more than capture your personal information without ever intending to offer a position.

Whenever "Jane Henderson" from PIV responds or "Michelle Parker" from YLD responds, this is what you will see:

MICHELLE PARKER'S RESPONSE (YLD Corporation):
"Thank you for emailing us. You seem very qualified for this position, and more so than others we have received emails from today. I would like to take the next step with you. However, before I can set up a formal meeting, YLD will require that you obtain a recent(past 14-21 business days) credit report. We at YLD Corporate enforce this because we have unfortunately had some bad experiences with prior employees taking advantage of having a company credit card.
Both myself and YLD heavily prefer it if you use http://freecreditreportsnow247.com to acquire this information as they are currently offering a credit report, at zero cost to you. We at YLD Corp. have also found that their scores always report back the most factual and accurate information compared to others. All potential applicants are to complete this step as suggested by our branch of the BBB.
After you submit all necessary information, their company will show you your personal credit report. Then, you will need to email me your reported credit score, and we will then be able to schedule for our formal meeting. I ask you to pleast not email me your entire credit report, as it will most likely have private information in the report. If you currently have a lower than expected credit score, it will not prevent you from a future position with us.
If you do not wish to send in a recent credit check, unfortunately we will need to meet with other applicants. Personally I am excited to fill this position and looking forward to your quick response.
Have a great day,
Michelle Parker

JANE HENDERSON'S RESPONSE (PIV Corporation):
We are pleased to learn of your interest in applying for the position and thank you for sending us your application documents. When you are hired, you will be provided with a company credit card to make supply purchases and a company car.
Due to an overwhelming response to our Craigslist ad and an increase in candidate applications, we are requiring that all potential employees to provide us with a credit check. This saves us countless hours of unnecessary candidate processing and verifies the identities of employees. We have partnered with an excellent company to instantly verify your identity and provide a printout of your credit history as well as a current credit score. With this partnership you can receive your credit score at no cost to you. Many other companies have begun to use this same service as well for the same reasons as ours. I will give you a call and setup an interview date once we receive the verification results. Check here FreeCreditCheck: http://www.eznews.info/fcr.php  to verify your credit score.
I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Sincerely,
Jane Henderson

PIV Corpration Inc.

BOTH of these "corporations" do not exist period. They state PIV was incorporated in November 1999 and is a client of Atlantic Bank LTD and also part of the SONISA Group of companies who has been operating in Belize since 1970. Everything on their multiple websites is identical!! All they change is the name(s) but everything else on these website are identical. Same formatting, same links, etc. etc.

If ANY of the companies listed above are legit, they would require licenses and SEC registration of which they do NOT exist.

Again, do NOT click on their links, do not enter any of your information, and most importantly do not obtain the report and send in 'just the score'. Going to these websites is where your personal information will be captured and used in Identity Theft scams! No legitimate employer can ask the applicant to do what they are asking; the company must conduct it in accordance with the Federal FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) and even the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission). If you have received an email from them, send it off to your Attorney General, contact the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), and any other governing bodies in your State to inform them of these fraudulent acts! If you have obtained the credit report from one of their links, get a hold of Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian immmediately to place a fraud alert on your account as ALL of your information is now in their hands!!!

I sure hope this helps others from becoming a victim; it sounds pretty cut & dry but in reality it is far from legitimate at all - especially with the cities they are hitting, the same positions open, multiple company names/websites, and not one single physical address for any of them. I will post more information as I am able to obtain it.

I recently had the same experience with this company! The email response I got back to my job application via craig's list was from a Michelle Parker in HR and the format/wording was exactly the same.  I was skeptical about the credit report and am so glad I did not go through with it and give them my information. Also, when you visit their sit, yldcorporate.com, it is very unclear about what the company actually does. Beware if you see listings like these on any job search sites and DO NOT give out your credit report!
