Corporate Advocacy Program™
I emailed them on their secure customer service website, complained, and they emailed me back a bunch of corporate psycho-babble about their policies regarding when checks are posted, etc etc.
Emailed them again, a different customer service rep emailed me back trying to explain why NSF fees were assesed, but still did not restore any of the disputed fees.
I just emailed them again tonight, and listed their exact figures, and will see if they can explain it away, or what they will do. I carbon-copied my lawyers, just in case I have to sue these (alleged) thieves.
I may have been born at night, but it WASNT LAST NIGHT!

Some will put a hold on your account. Some times double the amount of what the charge is.
example: Hotel: charges 200 a night for 2 nights. Use your Debit Visa or MC and they may double your charge to protect themselves. So the bank is taken out $800 and you only have a few cents left. Now if a check did not clear, and then it would become a NSF because of the double take out of something else. Check all info and ask for a balance sheet from your bank. Or check online. to see where the money went.
GAS stations may put up to a $50 charge on a charge account and take out say $50 for the gas itself. So the Debit card is withdrawl of $100. But you think it is only $50.

There should be a section in it that explains your banks funds availability policy, deposit cutoff times, etc. It sounds like that may be your issue. Your are debiting against the funds before they are available.
Good luck
