I have several business accounts at PNC Bank. Their service has not been the best towards business clients. We are a custom builder and receive bank draws form our clients mortgage companies. The PNC Bank in Carmel refused to noratize our bank draw form because my client did not get the loan through PNC. So i could not deposit over $75,000 into my PNC bank account. I spoke to the Executive Vice on customer relations and she said they agree withthe bank manager on not notarizing my form so I could deposit our moneuy into our PNC account. When I asked if this made good business sense, she indicated they they had to follow proceedures and would not comment on the validity of the procedure. I would NEVER receommend a bank that can not service their Business customers.

Sign of the times...

It has been common practice by just about every bank for several years that they will only Notarize documents if they relate to a loan they are approving.

As a side note there are probably several mobile notaries that will charge $10-$20 per signature and come to you at just about any time during the day.

By the way if this bank is so bad why are you not only still with them but have several accounts with them?

Policy

You may not like it but they HAVE to follow company policy if they wish to keep their jobs. Kinda shitty of you to blame them for banking regulations but hey I guess thats just the type of person YOU are. You do realize that if they took your deposit they would have to report you to the govt and odds are that they would put a hold on the funds until an investigation can be done in order to prove those funds were legitimate and NOT the proceeds from a drug sale or illegal activity. But hey I guess you didnt either know that information or knew it and disreguarded it. So much easier to call them a "bad business" because they have to follow the rules if they wish to work there. So much easier to go online and make a FALSE report over something they just cant control instead of accepting that they couldnt do what YOU wanted.

I guess being a custom builder means that you dont need critical thinking skills OR common sense. I wonder how YOU would feel if someone blasted you for just doing your job. Im betting that you would be enraged and upset, you know since it would be a false report due to you ONLY doing your job. I guess whats good for you isnt good for everyone else as evidenced by your post.

But see I have faith in Karma and one day someone will do to you what you have done to the bank. A fake or false report over something they cannot control and couldnt break unless they really wanted to lose their job. Then perhaps YOU will see the harm you have done because they didnt give you YOUR way.

I cant believe the absolute self entitlment you are demonstrating. Please dont tell us all that you use power tools.
