PNC Bank Years pass and they will randomly take your money, Internet

So an account that i had back in 2006 was negative and i handled at that point in time. Well now in 2013 they decided to come through and take the money from my account that ive had with PNC since July of 2012 without any notification. My address was always current this debt never showed on any chexsystems for any other bank accounts i had. I ask the representative I spoke to who gave me generic handling on collections; she verified my 4 year old address and told me letters would have been sent there.  If someone owes a debt its not hard to find contact information. PNC will randomly take your money and theres nothing you can do.
