I ORDERED PODS GETTING ALL DIFFERENT QUOTES. WAS TOLD EACH TIME I CALLED OUR CONVERSATIONS ARE RECORDED. NEVER ONCE WAS OFFERED INSURANCE.I GET FIRST POD LOAD IT ON A SUNNY DAY AND THEY PICK IT UP NEXT DAY. THEY BRINGS SECOND POD IN HUGE STORM SO NEXT DAY I OPEN IT TO LOAD IT AND ITS SOAKED INSIDE. DOOR BROKEN. I CALL PODS AND THEY CANNOT BRING ONE FOR A COUPLE DAYS. I SEND HOME MOVING MEN WITH PAY.275 DOLLARS.PODS COMES FINALLY AND I LOAD IT AND CALL THEM. THEY CANT PICK IT UP FOR FEW DAYS AND NEW OWNER IS MOVING IN.PROBLEM AFTER PROBLEM. WAIT IT GETS WORSE.I CALL TOPRESS MY CONCERN OVER FIRST POD POSSIBLY BEING WET AND DO THEY OFFER INSURANCE THEY SAY DURING EVERY ORDER. THEY DID NOT I ASK THEM TO REVIEW THE CALL. I NEVER HEARD BACK I EXPRESS MY ANGER OVERE THE ISSUES WITH THE LEAKY POD AND MY WORRY THEY DONT CALL BACK. NOW I CALL TO HAVE MY POD DELIVERED APPROX 50 MILES PERHAPS A FEW MILES MORE THAN THAT THEY QUOTE ME 1800 HUNDRED DOLLARS. I CRY I GET MAD THEY TAKE A REPORT NOONE CALLS. I CALLL BACK AND TELL THEM I WILL RENT A UHAUL AND PICK IT UP. NOW MY INVOICE DATES ARE POD 1 ON THE 22ND OF THE MONTH POD 2 ON THE 27TH OF THE MONTH. I CALLED ON 22ND AND ASKED WOULD THEY WAVE THE FOUR DAYS AND ILL PICK IT UP W HUAL ON 27TH THEY SAY NO I HAVE TO PAY FULL MONTH. I SAID WELL THEN ILL PICK UP THE ONE ON THE 27TH SO NO TO BE CHARGED AND ILL LEAVE POD 1 TILL THE 22ND OF NEXT MONTH . THEY SAID I CANNOT PICK UP POD 2 TIL I PAY POD 1 IN FULL.FORCING ME TO KEEP MY POD THERE AN ADDITIONAL MONTH. OR I CAN PICK UP THE PODS ON THE 27TH AND PAY THE POD 1 IN FULL AND THEY WILL CONSIDER PRO RATING ME FOR 1/2 MONTH. .UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WERE THEY WAVING THE THREE DAYS. I SAY THREE CAUSE THEY ALREADY GIVE YOU A 2 DAYS GRA CE PERIOD .I WAS TOLD.

HOW DO THEY SAY THEY DELIVER ANYWHERE AND THEN TELL YOU THEY R NOT LISENCED TO DELIVER 50 OR 55 MILES UP THE ROAD AND NEED TO GO THRU A DIFFERENT FRANCHISE.AND THATS THE REASON FOR THE 1800 DOLLAR CHARGE. AND HOW DO THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU CANNOT PICK UP ONE POD THATS PAID TO DATE UNTIL ANOTHER ONE IS PAID FOR. TWO DIFFERENT INVOICES TWO DIFFERENT DUE DATES TWO DIFFERENT ORDERS. AND THEY WILL HOLD ONE RANSOM.

HOW DO THEY GET AWAY IN THIS ECONOMY TO HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY IN NO WAY WERE EASY OR CONVEINENT. I HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS AND ALL I SAVED MYSELF BY USING THEM WAS UNLOADING INTO A STORAGE UNIT. WHICH MIGHT I ADD WAS 1/2 THE PRICE IF I USED THE STORAGE CENTER.A GIANT SIZED 26 FT UHAUL IS 39.00 DOLLARS A DAY TO MOVE IT AND STORAGE CENTERS ARE CHEAPER AND USUALLY OFFER FIRST MONTH FREE OR THIRD MONTH FREE. AND THE MONTHLY IS LESS. THEY ALSO CHARGE TO EVERY TIME THEY MOVE YOUR POD.MINE WAS 89 DOLLARS TO DROP IT AND TO PICK IT UP. WHICH IS DOUB LE RENTING THE TRUCK. MY FRIEND JUST WENT WITH A HUGE MOVING COMPANY MOVED FROIM ONE COUNTY TO ANOTHER THEY CAME PACKED HER UP MOVED HER AND IUNLOADED THE TRUCK FOR 950 DOLLARS A FOUR BEDROOM W A LOFT HOME.THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I USED PODS. I FORGOT WHAT HAD HAPPENED THE FIRST TIME WHEN THEY SPRING CHARGES ON ME UNTIL THIS TIME AND I HOPE PEOPLE READ THE WARNINGS BEFORE USING THEM. BECAUSE I THINK YOU WOULD FIND MANY MORE REPORTS ON HERE IF MORE PEOPLE KNEW OF RIP OFF REPORT. OR MANY MANAGERS OF THESE FRANCHISES KNOW HOW TO KEEP IN BUSINESS AND TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. JUST NOT THE ONE I DEALT WITH.THE CALL CENTER CALLS THE STORE. YOU CANT EVEN CALL THE FACILITY YOUR STUFF IS BEING HELD DIRECTLY.I WONDER IF YOU COULD SPEAK TO THESE MANAGERS AND THE HEARD YOOUR STORY FROM YOU IF THEY WOULD THEN BE INCLINE TO GIVE MORE CUSTOMER SATIFACTION. WITH THESE CURRENT BUSINESS PRACTICES ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THIS COMPANY TOO SUFFERS THE WRATH OF OUR ECONOMY. YOUR HAVE TO HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO STAY ALIVE IN THIS ECONOMICAL HURRICANE.PODS HADS TO BE THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME WHEN IT COMES TO THAT.I FEEL I HAVE BEEN BULLIED AND MANIPULATED AND STRONG ARMED IN PAYING OUTRAGEOUS FEES. I PLAN TO FIND OUT IF OTHERS HAVE DEALT WITH THIS COMPANY AND HAD SIMILAR ISSUES

I AM THE PERSON WHO WROTE THIS REPORT. I JUST WANTED TO UPDATE MY STORY BY SAYING I WENT INTO THE STORE IN TAMARAC AND FINALLY GOT TO MEET KEVIN IN PERSON. THE STORE OWNER/MANAGER. RIGHT AWAY WHEN HE HEARD MY STORY HE WAS SHOCKED AND TOOK CARE OF EVERY PROBLEM WITH THE MOVING COST AND GRACE PERIOD. THIS WAS THE FIRST HE EVEN HEARD OF THE SITUATION. HE WAS FRIENDLY AND UNDERSTANDING.WITHIN MINUTES I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH PLATINUM SERVICES WHO ALSO WERE AS HELPFUL AS COULD BE AND TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING.MY ITEMS WILL BE DELIVERED ONV THE FIRST AND I WILL UPDATE WITH THE SITUATION THEN. BUT I WANT TO SEND A HUGE THANK YOU TO KEVIN AT PODS IN TAMARAC FOR TAKING CARE OF EVERYTHING YESTERDAY AND MAKING WHAT SEEMED LIKE A HORRIBLE SITUATION INTO A GOOD SITUATION AND I WANT TO ASS THAT PODS THE COMPANY NEEDS TOO DO SOME SERIOUS UHAUL WITH THEIR CALL CENTER AND PROCEDURE. IT RUINS BUSINESS FOR PEOPLE WHO OWN THESE FRANCHISES.THESE PEOPLE AT THE CALL CENTER HOLD NO STAKE IN A COMPANY AND IT SEEMS TO ME, COULD CARE LESS WHAT THEY R DOING TO THESE BUSINESS OWNERS.I HAVE READ SEVERAL OTHER COMPLAINTS AND IT SEEMS TO ME THATS WHERE THE PROBLEM LIES.
