PlentyofFish.com is a creepy Canadian based dating website with a long history of shady practices. They have been caught using photos of deceased service members to create fake user profiles. You can't get much lower than that. That in itself proves that they are anti-American and evil. They aren't using photos of deceased Canadian service members, they used photos of deceased American service members.
In addition, if you sign up for PlentyofFish.com - they will sign you up for endless porn sites. If you make the mistake of giving them your real email address, you will be inundated with spam on a daily basis. I know it is them because they signed me up for all this garbage with the same user name that I had on POF.com
Read their Terms of Service. It clearly states that they will not distribute my information without my consent. No where in those terms does it give them consent to distribute my email to spam porn bots. [continued below]....
..... This crazy creeper Marcus Frind did that all on his own.
In their TOS:
We will collect, use, or disclose your personal information only with your knowledge and consent, except where required or permitted by Applicable Privacy Laws. When you choose to provide us with your personal information you consent to the use of your personal information as identified in this Policy and as may be further identified at the time of collection.
Well guess what? I never gave them consent, and they never notified me that signing up for POF.com meant signing up for dozens of porn sites. Beware of this shady company. DO NOT give them any personal information. They do not respect their members and they do not respect your privacy.
