PTL - Paschall Truck Lines Recruiter untruthful about everything. Murray Kentucky

Myself and my girlfriend went to orientation Aug.20th 2008 to drive Team for PTL. We were told on the phone by the recruiter we had named Michelle Perkin that we would be paid $300 for orientation, and that we would have first day insurance. We were told if we drive in we would be reimbursed for mileage, also we were told all expenses for the truck would be taken care of by fuel cards, EFS, tolls paid and scales, which we find out at first day orientation none of these things were true.

First off we told we would only be paid $200 for orientation which they issue 2 seperate comcheck numbers at $100 each when assigned a truck, then we told it would be 7 months to get the insurance instead of first day as we were told. Then we told we had to pay for scales,tolls,etc. then be reimbursed. Also they want everybody to buy locks, sign forms for them to charge you $1500 if you abandon a truck.

So after the first day we seen PTL is not what we were led to believe by the recruiter, so my team member and I left that 1st day. And now PTL has the nerve to put a bad report on DAC about the two of us and we didn't even stay for orientation, and never got paid the mileage either. So beware of PTL's recruiters, the one we had just straight lied about everything.
