Stay very far away from these people !!! (Orange County CA) I got a Living Social deal for whole-house duct cleaning through It's Duct Time. They sub'd te work out to Pacific Breeze. Not a cool move to start with. They were "too busy" and made me schedule out 6 weeks, then canceled the night before and rescheduled. The tech (OZ) arrived. My mother (Grandma) was at the house. He clearly saw an easy mark. He pretended to inspect my attic and showed Grandma a photo of damaged ducting stating that there were 2 ducts requiring replacement.
He further explained that we risked exposing everyone to asbestos if we didnt do it. (I don't have asbestos in my house). Grandma called me quite upset and OZ give me the cost - $ 325 each if we say yes now, or $ 525 if we need to think about it. I told him to leave immediately. I had my Home Warranty Inspector come out. One duct was slightly bent, and he fixed it in aobut 10 minutes. No other damage. And the photo OZ showed us - this ducts doesn't even exist in my house. Total scam.
