Pacific Web Works EBAY Business Did Not Order Left VM on phone that $4.90 would be charged to my Cred Card Salt Lake City Utah

8/8/08 - A VM was left on my phone regarding a purchase I had made for an E-Bay Business. The recording stated that $4.90 would be charged to my Credit Card, and the order would be shipped in one to two business days.

I did not place an order. My phone number is non-published.

I called the number left via the recording. A woman answered, she was quite rude, and wanted to get my information so she could remove the charge. I refused to give her my information. I told her that she already had my phone number, which is illegal, because my number is unlisted and non-published.

I told her I was going to call my Credit Card company and report her company. She said the C.C. company could not help me. She said she was the only one who could cancel the account, but I would have to give her my info.

I refused, and called my C.C. company. Of course the amount had not been charged yet, so the only thing they could do is change my C.C. number or I would have to wait until the amount was charged to the C.C., then Dispute the Chareg.

I am going to wait to see if they charge this amt. to my C.C.I may end up having them change my C.C. anyway.

This is really ridiculous! I am so angry, at the moment!!
