I received a UPS tracking report on a birthday gift purchased from Pajama Gram. The billing and recipient addresses were reversed. I emailed the company and when I did not get a response, telephoned. After a very lengthy conversation, in which I was put on hold for long periods of time, I was told that the billing and recipient addresses were reversed, which of course was why I called. Then I was told that they would call me back later.  Next I received an email from the company chastising me for emailing and calling. They wasted time on this instead of addressing my concerns.
I responded to the email, reminding them of what was important; fixing this error and making me feel OK about the situation. Customer service. The package was to have arrived by the 17th of November.
It has not arrived yet. After more calls, emails, etc., the company still was unwilling to take responsibility. They have my money, they said they would deliver something somewhere on a certain date and they did not. I am amazed at this. This is not the first order I have placed with them. I am a a repeat customer who has spent a tidy sum on mail out PJ's. I pointed this out. Nope, they do not care.
Never will I buy anything from them again. Never. It just is not their problem that any of this happened and finally when I pointed out that they should try and make some of this up to me, I was offered a $15.00 off my next purchase, which I would have to call in and ask for at the time of purchase. No code, no record of offer, etc. Of course I have no faith that anyone would honor this, nor do I think that it is an appropriate resolution to my loss of faith in their company. Again, they shift the onus of responsibility to someone else.
Crappy service, crappy point-of-view. I will be sure to share this with my friends and family.
