Here is a sad story about a company who deceives the public about their tanning services/packages, steals your money and when you ask for a refund you get the run around. I plan on going to the Attorney General and filing a complaint. Here is a little background. I’ve been going to the same location for 18 years and the company has been sold 4 times. I never had one issue in 18 years with any other owner and then these rip-off artists come along and sell me a package for $149 dollars. The package that was sold to me in April, is the same package that I have purchased from previous owners in this location.

It is the premium bed package that consists of 10 tans for $149 dollars and no expiration date. So, back in April 2014 I go into the building to tan and I find out it’s now owned by Palm Beach Tan. I ask the girl behind the cash register if I had any tans left from the previous owners and she said I had 1 tan left. She said she is running a special so I ask what is the special. We spoke for a while and I explained to her I live in another state and I spend half my time in Arizona and half my time in Florida. I purchased the package and specifically asked her does this have an expiration date. I explained to her I was leaving for Florida and I wouldn’t be back for 6 weeks. She said “NO”!!!

Now, I come back to tan on August 28th 2014 to find out that I have no tans left. I spoke to a young lady named Mariah. She said my package expired in July… I explained to her that I didn’t purchase a package that expires and I explained to her why she said that I would have to speak to her manager. I asked her for the manager’s name and she told me to speak with Keelie Sitts. I then asked her how many times did I use the service and she said twice. That would be $75 per tan… RIP OFF ARTISTS… So I called for two days before I got a hold of the manager Keelie Sitts. I drove up to have a conversation with her and I requested a refund. She said she couldn’t do that and she would have to speak with someone.

Bottom line consumers don’t ever use this Palm Beach Tan place. The employees sell you a package and steal your money. The managers can’t or won’t help and I guess our only alternative is to file a complaint here and with the state agencies…
