Yeah, Wayne, if you are a satisfied customer of this company, why are you perusing this website? Methinks you are an employee of the company designated to refute these complaints. I would find it hard to believe that you stumbled across this by accident, especially the day after it was posted. Come on! Even the arrogant SOB's that we dealt with were a little smarter than to make us believe that...

Wayne, hmm that name sounds familiar. Give me a break, two pages of complaints on here and numerous attempts at lawsuits. I believe you are a Palm Flabber rep, maybe the Class Action Suit got your attention? It is coming, I promise you.

My wife and I bought a brand new 2004 32X90 home from Palm Harbor. (Dothan Alabama) We've never had one ounce of trouble. They followed up with the move, made sure everything was good. Even gave us a check list after a month....if we found ANYTHING Wrong or displeasing, let them know. My wife found a crack in the ceiling after all of the movement of being delivered. They came promptly and fixed it. Also some of the shingles had nails exposed....they also fixed that promptly. People have different experiences but ours in Dothan was great. We love our home and are very satisfied. If we ever had to buy another....it would be from them.
Maybe it depends on the people you are dealing with...maybe management is bad, but Don't hold Palm Harbor entirely responsibly. Just my opinion.

Oh GOD I wish I would have found this site before me and my wife closed with these people. At the time of this writing the sales centers in Alabama are closed but I suspect they are operating under a different name. Be weary of Country Place Mortgage ! they are the same company. My story begins much like every one elses. We closed in 2006 on a Palm Harbor triple wide we financed with 5 acres. Problems rite from the start, house was damaged upon delivery, a joist busted through the mid section. They promised to repair, well they appearantly cut the joist and hid it by half a** repairing the sheet rock. I caught the so called install techs drinking beer and using my refrigerator, some one had pissed in the urinals with out the plumbing being hooked up. We were supposed to move in Feb 2006, we didn't move in untill April due to contractors not showing up or not working when they did show up and the general manager we delt with at closing was fired after having a drug over dose in the office. After we moved in cracks began surfacing in the cieling, the floor felt like it was seperated, and we had to have the air conditioning duct fix several times. We consulted with an attorny who got them back one time to 'fix' all our problems, too numerous to mention here or this would be a book. But they failed to fix but a few items, again mudding over the cracks in the cieling which have returned. I want to sue but I signed an Arbatration Agreement at closing. Do not ever do this. THe whole thing was fraudulent, they promised us this 'Gold Key' that only we would have and unlock the door for the first time. The d**n manager tossed the key at my wife and guess what? It didn't even fit the lock!. I could go on and on but I just want to make sure no one ever gets taken by this company. Also, if any one out their knows of a way me and my wife can sue them or get out of this nightmare please let me know. Screwedintuscaloosa Northport, al, Alabama
