Palmentere DAC destroying goblins, home wreckers, forces drivers to falsify log books, steals out of pay checks etc. Kansas City Missouri

  I just want to say that I turned this company in to the Department of Transportation in Washington D.C. and asked that it be examined for "forcing drivers to falsify their log books" and then "turning around and firing said drivers so that it could pass an internal D.O.T. inspection, after having put them under hardship after hardship to force them into compliance " Palmentere Bros. was found guilty, but nothing was done to save any of the drivers this company attacked and sacked for its forced violations: of which there were thousands. During my last week the Palmentere family even hired a crooked cop to do their firing (to set up their D.O.T. smoke screen) and when I told him how to identify thousands of forced falsifications he threatened to fire me on the spot and told me to get out of his office or I would be one the (his claim) over sixty other drivers he sacked. I left, of course, and took every action to defend myself and that is why I have a letter from the Washington D.C. Department of transportation confirming what I write here.

 As for me, over a thousand dollars were stolen out of my pay checks during the year I worked for Palmentere and I never received a ticket, accident, freight report or any other kind of violation. When I quit, because I had had it with their crap, my DAC was rendered unusable for employment and I had to go straight to the hire right corporation to fix it myself.

It scares me that this monster of a lousy company - one that is deep seated in wrecking the families and futures of the people who work for it and support it - just seems to go on and on. As far as the equipment; on more than "three" separate occasions Palmentere forced me to run refrigerated freight with a broken down unit that did not adequately cool the shipper's merchandise: one load of apples from Washington state to Alabama that required me to jump out of the truck every hour or so for days (even when I slept) to keep restarting the refrigerating unit. Had anyone been paying attention, said cargo would have been refused and you can bet Palmentere would have taken it out of my pay check because that's what these human wrecking machines do.

On another occasion, one friend of mine was forced to quit and shut down at his own residence because he hadn't received a pay check for weeks and couldn't eat. Bear in mind that the truck was in his driveway with a load of paper on board, but what does the Palmentere family report on his DAC? Why that he left the unit in the middle of interstate with the refrigeration unit shut off and fresh load of tomatoes on board. When he told Palmentere he needed to eat to drive, he got no mercy, and the truck sat in his drive way for three weeks before Palmentere picked it up. And for sure, if my friend had gone to Kansas, he would have had his last check stolen, no bus ticket back to Alabama, and no way to feed himself at all because the Palmetere's are a family of crooks who do not meet their legal obligations to their drivers. (I myself was told no bus ticket when I got back to the terminal and the Palmentere's stole my entire last paycheck of 600.00.)

Other obstacles to watch out for:  They even keep a freezer under camera in their store house and fire any driver that mistakenly takes it for being food left out for their employees. On one instance, I brought in an extra box of hot dogs left on my truck by a customer and the Palmetere's intercepted me in their office and took out of my hands for that freezer. And truthfully, had that been a shortage on my load, the Palmentere's would have charged me for it. On another occasion, a driver even gave a mechanic his refrigerator when he left, and the Palmetere's fired the mechanic for taking it.  And later still, the Palmentere's tried to charge me for a missing pallet on a load when the tally was wrong and the customer knew it and had already fixed it. Frustrated by this, the Palmentere's fined something like 90.00 instead which means the Palmentere's took a huge fine out of my check for something the customer knew from the moment I took the load, and corrected.

My advice: "Save your career as an OTR driver and get as far away from these evil people as possible. They eat families like goblins. And face it, who needs to work for someone who will rip off their shirt in a parking lot and threaten to beat the crap out of them (Yes, saw one of the vicious Palmentere's do this to one of their mechanics). Remember, Palmentere bros. Carthage steals from its drivers and it lies to the DAC corporation to corrupt driving records - most likely to keep drivers poor and under their roof (that is if they haven't forced some many log book falsifications on them that they can't drive them anymore). I have proof of everything I write here from the D.O.T. and the Hire Right corporation. For the record: I had no freight damage, no tickets, no accidents, no late deliveries, no D.O.T. violations and no company policy violations, and I still had to turn this guy in and appeal my DAC. If you're there now - GET OUT! RUN! And Hire Right should be ashamed to carry this narcissistic unethical human trash of a company in its data base... in fact, I am going to write them a letter now. Palmentere Bros. can only be in business for the revenue the bring in for the D.O.T. in fines. This whole situation just doesn't make sense. To reiterate: GET OUT! RUN!
