We hired Pamiloc Roofing, who is a general contractor to tear down a barn, remove some trees, haul away the debris and grade the area for a garage, build a form for cement and pour the fountation for the garage that would be delivered by the end of the month.
After the barn and trees were down, Major Lewis, the owner of Pamlico Roofing, ask for the money for the job so he could get the suppies to finish the job. After he was paid in full, he hired a stump grinding company to grind the stumps and never finished hauling the debris or bringing in the sand or building the form or pouring the cement. We had to pay the garage company an extra hundred dollars to store the building and hire a new contractor to finish the work.
One of his workers is the boyfriend of a relative of mine and she called me to ask if Major Lewis had been paid in full becuase he only paid his workers half their salaries and told them he had not recieved but half of the money from us. This was a flat out lie. Do not hire this contractor!!
