Renewed subscription to Titanium Antivirus early...9-05 to 2006 version to expire 12-06. Last update caused my computer to block access to internet through DSL service and could not print. Could not contact Panda support as could not access internet. DSL tech support said it showed access denied and a virus. Took computer to computer company, CompUSA. Panda was problem and they refused refund.Comp usa removed panda software and computer and DSL works better than ever before.Suggested Norton and it works perfect. CompUSA says "Panda" is a very poor and unreliable product.
Panda refuses to refund for any renewal even if not being used if over 30 days since renewal, even if product cannot be used.
Also, employees very rude!!!!

Response to the Panda report

I have been involve in the computer field for several years as a tech. From both the personal and professional side of this, in my experience, issue when a company tells you that a piece of software is the issue more often than not they have not looked into the simple fixes that may take only a few minutes to take care of the problem. This instance there are two fixes Winsockfix and LSPfix. 5 minutes and it is done.
For the past 4 years I have used Panda on all of my machines and where I work now every machine that comes in for virus or adware/spyware issues gets Panda. Customers that have been loyal Norton, McAfee, etc. users will never switch back from Panda. We used to keep track of what Panda would pull off of a machine that had some of the popular programs of this type. On average Panda would pull 25% to 30% more off of these machines than would the others.
As far as refunds well go to any store that sells software and use it. Once the package is opened it is yours there is no refund.
One other thing if you look at the stats on Panda as of 7/1/07 it is the #1 antivirus program in the world with the exception of the US. Their market share here is growing. In the not too distant future they will take the lead in this country also.
