Don't be fooled by her hard luck stories or agreeable personality. She is a scammer!  Late rent with excuses were common (her car was totaled, she is in a domestic violence situation, just started a new job ect).  The last excuse indicated she would soon be receiving her settlement from the accident and would be able to square up the back rent at that point.

We tried hard to work with this tenant because she had children and we empathized with her situation. We even worked with a charity program that helped pay a portion of her rent. Yet, she even lost that funding after failing to keep case meetings with them. Every word that spilled from her mouth was a long string of lies. After realizing this I filed a Dispossessory Warrant with Dekalb County (No. 120026252). 

Web searches on her will reveal a long list of addresses and several mugshots. It seems she fully intended to screw us (the landlords) from the beginning. We even found paperwork where she forged both my name and the property owner's name on fraudulent leases for 2 adult males who we never met or signed leases with. One of the males has a criminal record. We know this because they left court documents in the home.

The home was disgusting! It had urine in the tubs, feces in one toilet, dirty diapers in the downstairs closet, something rotting in a bag in a cabinet and the walls were covered in some type of grime. We seriously had to undress in our garage to ensure that no creepy crawlies infested our homes after clearing the property.

She has a Georgia Drivers License:  0XX2XX253 

She owes the property owner back rent, $300 cleaning fee, $200 for yard repairs $350 court costs (so far) not to mention the cost of the ruined oven and the stolen refrigerator, washer/dryer, entertainment center and lawnmower.   If you are a potential property manager/landlord, caseworker, part of social services or a church group please beware!! Honestly, I don't want this to happen to anyone else. All I can do is pray for justice for us and for the welfare of her many, many children.

The case number associated with her Incident report is 12-086396 and it is filed with Dekalb County Police Department. It is now being handled by the Tucker Division.
