As extra insurance I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges, so they would also be working on getting my account credited.
The credit card company is issuing me a new card with a new number so no new charges can be made on my account.
I strongly urge if you have been ripped off by this company or any other, contact your bank, or credit card company and dispute the charge, they will send you papers to fill out and sign, but in the end I do believe you will get your money back.

Under New Ownership

POSTED: Tuesday, November 11, 2008The information that they have is actually quite good, and the advisors they have on the hotline really do know their stuff. The problem is that enrollment in the monthly service wasn't clearly mentioned on the home page. You have to read the terms and conditions to see that you are going to be billed until canceled. Part of the problem is that when people check a box saying "I agree to the terms" they need to make sure they are actually agreeing to the terms.
One bit of good news is that the company is under new ownership, and they are very concerned about improving the reputation of the program, making sure people understand what they are signing up for, and taking care of their customers (even when they call to refund) If you are interested in speaking with a rep. from Passive Profits, call them at their new number 800-679-9452.
