===================== Pathfinder Business Strategies - Pathfinder Business Strategies/Drew Miles organization is a scam. They rip off people by promising to save taxes. Sebastian Florida
Pathfinder Business Strategies program is nothing but a scam to get people to pay for Diamond program which is a basic tax help. They have different grades of programs of which the Silver program is at 10% of the Diamond program. What they deliver with the Diamond program is nothing but a cookie-cutter bound document fed into a basic finance program with questions and answers. Why does one have to pay $25,000 for a simple program which can be gotten for less than $100 and a report printed from it? Our efforts to work with Pathfinder are a waste of time as they are unable to perform on their guarantee. They insist they have provided excellent service and we feel it is mediocre at the best. They claimed they are geniuses with breakthrough advice and guarantees. It is a combination of over promising the product, coaches that are not experienced in working on advanced strategies, pitching strategies that their team doesn't understand, and pitching strategies that may be too aggressive.
Their so called strategies are empty promises. The problem is Pathfinder report contains obviously known strategies or strategies we are already using or possible fraudulent strategies. Here are the basic issues we disagree with them:
1) In the course of the coaching, there actually was no coaching. It was their two coaches asking redundant questions week after week. We really got nowhere on coaching and all they did was read off the report. In fact, we thought we were still going to get into the meat of the coaching program only to find out THAT WAS the coaching program. They need to reevaluate the credentials of their coaches and not criticize their client's accountant's capability. 2) They suggest forming a separate company as a shifting method to defer income to another corporation. From our perspective, this is tax deferral not reduction 3) Even for the Diamond program their basic strategies are same ones repeated in CDs and conferences they sell. 4) They push strategies such as the Treasure Coast Trust and Freedom Plus System which their coaches had no idea how they worked. We do not feel comfortable about the Treasure Coast Trust as we do not have enough specifics on the structure and we have not seen anything on paper about the Freedom Plus System. They cannot count these strategies towards the $100,000 tax savings as we believe the IRS does not endorse tax evasion programs like these.
They are pretty good at stalling by asking for more and more of your personal and business financials to avoid fulfilling the guarantee. The coaches hardly use the information you give them as they just put some numbers in the cookie-cutter report and they are done. They merely get around by ridiculing professional accountants and IRS to attract customers. We provided them the same financial data as to our accountant, but Pathfinder will keep on asking for more and more in steps until you are frustrated. If they are confident of their abilities and their guarantee then they should not have a problem with this. If they cannot fulfill the guarantee which they did not, they are required to return additional 10% for their failure by their own terms. To put an end to our regrets of getting help from Pathfinder we agreed to pay them for the Silver program, however they do not want to live up to their guarantee. We did not see a difference between their Silver and their Diamond program and so we offered to pay for what was fair.
Unfortunately, the bank did not refund our money as we did not have a credit slip from Pathfinder. However, they know how to outsmart the credit card companies.
In summary, Pathfinder exactly knows how far they can commit the fraud and therefore they make the guarantees but do not honor them. They know how to be sleazy and screw the customer. This complaint is worthy of this web site as Pathfinder is a RIP-OFF
