Patient Care Transport Craigslist Job Scam? Richmond, California

I knew this sounded too good to be true. I'm very glad I Googled the company and found this site before going to an interview and paying $495 for the privilege of getting ripped off. I responded to an ad on Craigslist, and got this response by email about a week later (yesterday). I underlined the part that really raised warning flags for me. We have lots of work in Northern CA and are Looking to hire Additional team of drivers/Partners(Part Time and Full time)

Drivers can make on average $300-$350 per ride or $800 before your commission. All rides are Workers Compensation injured workers.  Non Emergency. You select Rides based on Distance and your availability.
You get paid for all miles and wait Time($25 for every 15 minutes) + Pickup charge +Drop charge +Fuel Charge

These are great lucrative payouts for transports. You can make close to $1000 per day. All drivers know that it takes at least 30-45 Days until you can start collect the payout as we get the payment from the insurance companies after we bill them. Every payout from insurance company is sent to driver within 5 days after we have received it. we pay direct deposit or wire transfer or regular check. We will provide you an online interface to you to check status of all rides and total commissions.

You would also be able to report your availability status online or by phone. You will also be able to upload your ticket to your online interface after ride is done.

We also start offering flat rate transportation( $1- $2 per mile Any patient - $1 for Pharmacies where you make 100% commission of these transports - Company takes $295 per month for these Calls when you make at least $2000 a month from these rides) Flat rate or Pharmacies are only about 3% of all rides at the moment in your area. So most transports are the high paying Workers Compensation rides.

In addition to your commitment for reliable  transport service, our company carries all billing and lien processing cost, and your application and certification fee include your small participation. We are looking for only drivers who are committed to work and perform excellent service for our clients who demand timely professional service and reliability.

* This nominal One time Application/Certification Fee is required from any driver we accept for the position and it is covered by your income from your first 1-2 transports alone.
