In September 2007 out of desperation heard a commercial on the radio for Power Tax Relief. Contacted them and was given a great sales pitch. Hired them for thousands of dollars up front with the assurance they would help. Had many phone calls and completed lots of forms. These were payroll taxes. Finally in September 2008, received forms stating that personal levies were being put on myself. Contacted Power Tax Relief representative and was told that they would take care of it. Did not receive a return phone call and attempted to contact them. I was told problems occurred because of time difference. I am located in the midwest. Bottom line they ripped us off and did nothing. I am now working with another attorney and things are happening at a much lower rate and as they should be. Got into more trouble with the IRS due the inefficiency and lack of work on part of Power Tax Relief. These people are a big rip-off. I have requested on two separate occasions to get an accounting on the money we spent with them which has turned out to be $18,000.00. Cannot get any type of response. Can anyone help me to try to get some our money back. Would have been way better off to send that money to the IRS than have spent it with them. Do not use these people ever. I intend to file a formal complaint with the Attorney Generals of both Indiana and California. Any help would be appreciated.

Good luck trying to get your money back,I have been trying for well over a year know,The attorneys generals office must be in cohouts with this company,There are over 30 cases filed against them, adding up to HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, Always the same thing they promise the world,even after giving them all the facts and figures, They dont do anything and if you should god forbid call them you are harassing them. I DONT KNOW WHO IS A BIGGER JOKE THEM OR THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, GOOD OLD ARNIE MUST GET KICK BACK OR A DONATION FOR EVERY CONSUMER THEY STEAL FROM,ANY OTHER STATE WOULD HAVE SHUT THEM DOWN BY KNOW. THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE OF CALIFORNIA IS A JOKE AS IS THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION, THEY HAVE OVER 50 COMPLAINTS FROM THE BBB WITH A F RATING AND THEY STILL DO NOTHING, I AM GLAD I DONT LIVE IN THAT STATE, I GUESS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PAY OFF THE RIGHT PEOPLE AND YOU CAN STEAL AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. I WONT STOP TILL I GET A FULL REFUND, BUT IT WILL HAVE TO HAPPEN FROM MY STATE OF NEW YORK,WHAT WE NEED IS A GOOD ATTORNEY WHO HAS THE STONES TO GO AGAINST THE RIP OFF STATE OF CALIFORNIA.....MIKE V
