Paws n claws was not the shipper for this pet. I was contracted for the pets transport while robin took care of personal business at home, upon arrival the pet, Ireland was picked up in northern Florida for California as we arrived and walked up to the door the smell was horrible it was  bad .the fecal smells were coming thru the door seams, as the door open I had to step back. It was ungodly bad the dog lunged out of the dwelling but dragging its rear on the ground as if it had worms but a happy dog at that time .I observed fecal matter on the carpet and a carpet cleaner that was sitting idle. I advised the client on my observation of the dog as we always do and she advised that it always had done that the health cert had nothing about the problem. well it was not the first time that a dog had a condition that was not reported.  it look like as if the dog was too much for the client and was giving it to her mother in California it was pretty apparent what was going on here.

I began to hobnob with the client advised of our route and services which consist of private and as well as private flight the client advised she could not afford it. also at no time did I ever give the client a exact time of  arrival due to so many factors. at the beginning of the route and problems that comes along with pet transporting, dogs and cats do get  sick from time to time and you have to alter your route or go to a vet for their safety of the pet,  most animals can take the trip I believe the ratio around 99 percent. but every couple runs something will happen on a trip of 14000 miles.

well as we headed up north from Florida to the north east for our pickups and started heading west via Texas I-10 .these runs run in a figure 8 on a east coast west coast and back to the east coast .well it happened a dog  with problems  as we entered east Texas and a discussion had to be made and for the safety of the animal we had to alter our course for the  animal and the age was also a factor for this particular pet. well as always a update was given to all receivers and all but this one was raven mad. a mouth like a sailor. what I dont understand the client was offered as we always do a two day delivery or a private ground but the receiver showed no compassion at all for the pet in question. these animals are transported in a late model  van with all the amenities big cages and lots of cool air or heat to keep the pet comfortable for the trip. ladies and gents these are not packages these are  live animals. they have to be walked feedings at the request of the owner  played with three times up to four times a day and some you can walk for 30 min and still will not go at all, this takes time contrary to her allegations and a thank you and a smile from the client that was in cali when the dog arrived. I would just wonder what would be different if the outcome was her animal in question.

In closing I like to say paws n claws is a fine company contrary to my bad luck with that run and very reasonable

PawsNClaws sometimes sends Jobs on to other companies if they cannot accommodate them due to time, weather or location.

This Job was passed to another company that is Based out of LA, and our company didnt do this particular transport.
That is why our vans wasn't used and we had no idea of where or what was going on with this persons pet.

We are terrible sorry this has happened to this person and foremost their pet but PawsNClaws was not the transporter for this job.
