I, like many other people, went online and got a three day trial membership for $4.95. My significant other told me it wasn't worth it and to go back and cancel immediately. If it wasn't canceled within the three day trial you would billed monthly. So I tried to go into the website and cancel my membership. That never happened.

I tried ALL day to get into the website, but it was nonexistant.I couldn't get to the website,I just couldn't get in. Then I recieved my credit card statment and there it was. Two charges on my card from Paycom.net. The first for $4.95 and the second for $39.95. I don't know how it happened because the three day trail wasn't even up yet, and I was already billed for $39.95. Even though I fought like hell to get this stupid thing cancelled, I was still charged. So then I went looking for this website again.

When I did finally get into the website I was not granted access and then the website went down or something because the page was blank. I called the 800 number on my credit card statement and got the runaround. "We don't have an account in your name" "You must have ordered something otherwise you would not have been charged" "Sorry but I can't help you" yada yada yada. Well I documented everthing I was told and the names of the people I spoke to. I have every email saved from the internet company I had a three day trial membership with and from paycom.net. So these peole will get what they are asking for and I will be the one to do it. Do not do business with these people.

ADVICE FOR ANYONE GOING THROUGH THIS

Cancel your account and set up a new one. That way they have nonexistant account numbers and that keeps them from taking anymore money from you. Or you can just cal your bank or credit card company and change the account number and they will send you new cards. That is what I did and I havn't had a problem since, but I am still setting out to get my $39.95 back and will not stop until I do. Good Luck to you!!!

This worked for me.

AUTHOR: Mark - (U.S.A.)

I was also done in by the "trial" membership that was never cancelled.

I called Paycom at the number listed on my bill and talked with them. I received a credit for the non-trial amount from them.

Initially I was told there was nothing they could do. I pointed out that they could credit me, or I could make a report concerning thier fraudulent use of my card,

Amazingly enough, they were able to credit me for the overage.
