at its best!

Around October 2007, I've have ordered a HP Pavillion Desktop PC and a HP Notebook Aspire which had old files in both merchandise. As I was told, my computer was provided with a hard drive, DVD burner and Windows Vista. Which it did have 2 items except the hard drive. I've noticed that they have charged me for something that should have been charged for less. Far as my lab top, it was a total rip off. Far as the warranty and all.

Right now, I've been late on two payments because I feel that I should be respected as a customer and I haven't. Everytime I called (PD), I been placed on hold for a long time. I even called GE whom they are buisness together, and they are just the same. Secondly, once I've received my merchandise, my rebate expired due to the shipment. It was fifty dollars, but its my money!

I'm really fed up because right now, I'm trying to get me another lab top because the one they sent me stinks! I'm paying for something that the company held for years and you decided to sale it to me. That's totally injustice! Make it so bad, I have insurance of both items. I need help!

#1 Consumer Suggestion

GE Money and PD no longer.

AUTHOR: Nikki - (U.S.A.)

Even though you applied for credit through GE to purchase something at PD, they are 2 separate entities. GE pays PD then you owe GE. You cannot refuse to pay GE because of something PD does. You have to get PD to credit GE before you can get a credit.

GE and PD split ways in March, 2008. GE is no longer handling the credit for PD.

Next time you purchase something from a place other than the actual dealer, go onto the website to see how old it is. Many companies sell last year's model. In other words, if you purchase a computer, go to the computer manufacturer's website to see the age of the computer. It does take some investigation since PD does not give you the actual model #.

I know what you mean about the rebate though. PD starts the rebate time from the time you purchased the item, rather than when they ship it. So if they ship it late, you lose out on the rebate because you need the UPC code off the actual item for the rebate.
