On October 13, 2011 I was attack at work verbally by the Human Resources Rep next of kin. I was minutes away from clocking out from my shift. I and a couple other co-workers were in conversation and minding our own business when this person who was out of their work area, was not supposed to be near the time clock at all interupted me badger me about my spiritual beliefs. I had profanity and vulgarity words use against me from this person. I was shock and so were others who witness this act from this person.
After all was said and done by him and what I told him about not being a christian using that kind of language, I was gonna be the bigger man and apologize to this person if he felt embarrass becasue of his acts and not mine. I text him in an apology. Because thats how I was taught to settle issues with people who are out to bring harm to me. Being this person is the nephew of the Plants human resource rep, the next day Oct 14, 2011 begining of my shift I was question suspended and later fired for threatening & intimidation of the nephew that allegedly someone reported I did to the (HR)'s nephew.
Can u believe this? Listen America first of all this is a lie second of all I was a target at Ecolab because I was campaigning Union practice with a local teamsters 728 in Atlanta, which most At Will companies frown upon, thirdly handbook policies have limits to how next of kin can apply to its (Eligibility) with relatives at the workplace. Its June 15, 2012 now I've continue with having justice against the charade for months I just pray someone out there can share my story with the world.
I work for this company for nearly 8years I had a lot riding on my Union practice but never violated any on the job campaigning. I was also on this (Last Chance Return to Work) program for an early March or April 2011 incident and (unlike) several other hourly associates there. Was terminated wrongfully behind the Oct 13,2011 incident. If given the chance I can tell how this company has several associates with 1 to 2 and as many as 3 writes after receiving LCRW disciplinaries. 2 associates with 2 to 3 LCRW in a year.
Thats like me saying to a person "ok this is your last chance" a month later the'yre in trouble again, then I tell them once more,"this is your last chance". Then they're in trouble a third time, and again I tell them once more "this is your last chance. Yes this has accured with at least 2 associates in 2011 and neither associate was terminated. At Will has its limits and America we got to stop letting big companies like an Ecolab and other fortune 500's punish the little guy who work as modern slaves, being seen only, and not heard. Who's with me?
