I wanted high speed internet so I called my satellite company to see if they offered anything in my area. They do not, so they recommended People PC, took my credit card information, name, address etc and said a program CD was on the way. One week later, no CD. I called People PC who assured me another one was on it's way. One week later, still no CD. I called again to cancel the service and requested a refund. Jordan told me I was not due a refund because I signed up for the service. I explained to her that I have paid three weeks for a service that I have not been able to use or enjoy. She said she understood but would not relent on the "You signed up for a service, you must pay" line. All she could do was offer me a free month for the month I was not able to use it. Nothing gained for my frustration since the month I wasn't able to use it but had paid would cancel out the "free" month. I asked to cancel the subscription and she wouldn't allow me to. She insisted I use the "free" month. So now I've paid almost a month for service that I never used because the disc never came.

I recieved the disc in the mail today. Loaded it up and was disgusted at this "High Speed" internet. There is definitely nothing high speed about it. I tried to log into my account to cancel and this is the message I recieved "The system has encountered an unhandled exception. Please try again later." I called People PC again. I waited for 15 minutes (I timed it) and still no customer service rep. I hung up...called my satellite company who referred me to People PC and demanded they do something. She put me in touch with a People PC rep. Shayannie(sp?) wanted to send me to tech support to fix the error page, she wanted to send me to a supervisor to intice me into staying, she wanted to give me another free month! After 23 minutes and 33 seconds of playing patty cake with her I finally got a cancellation and a confirmation number. I really should have checked Rip Off Report before ever signing up with these jerks! The good thing about my case...I lost my credit card last week, called the bank and they've issued me a new number! So People PC will be unable to charge me with the old credit card number! Bwahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa, Bxxxxs.
