PeoplePC Online I ordered peoplepc online and was told the first 6 months it would cost $4.97 but to get this I would have to sign up for a year I said o.k. I thought that this means for one year for 10/23/2007 tru 10/23/2008, but I got a call from accounting dept on the 26th of Oct 2008 for a late notices of $9.95 for the month of Oct. I told them the service was not what I expected dropped line San Francisco California

I told them the service was not what I expected dropped line, cut off. I told the caller to send me their mailing address and I would sent them a check for the amount. the caller said they couldn't receive checks it would have to be by credit card only. I again asked for their mailing address and they hung up on me. On the 1st of Nov. 2008 I got another call for peoplepc and said the same thing I owe them $9.95 I told this person to send me their mailing address and I would send them a check she said they couldn't do that it would have to be a credit card I again said no. I had also told the first caller to cancel my account . I sent peoplepc a check for $9.95 on the 1st of Nov 2008 through the mail to the address on the disk I received it was 100 Pine Street San Francisco, Ca. 94111. I got my letter back this return to sender people pc moved left no address unable to forward.

I feel that this group that will not take checks and have no real mailing address is not a good company to do business with, As of today Nov 11,2008 I have not heard from them so they are most likely sending my name to some credit group to collect sound about right for a company of this kind. Thanks but no Thanks.
