I was looking at speakers and was'nt sure so I asked for help. I asked the guy working there the differance between a set of Pioneer 6*9,{ I beleive 220 watts,} and a set of Sony XPlode 6*9's {200 watt}speakers.He told me that I could here for myself.

So we went to the audio display and he turned on the top row of speakers,which were a set of Pioneer 6/9s which looked nearly identical as the ones on the shelf.

Then he switched down to the next row. These were a set of Sony Xplode 6/9s,the only red and black speakers on the display. Also the displayed Sonys were 3way speakers and the Pioneers were 3ways. The Sony Xplod sounded better so I chose the Sonys. He walked me back to the shelf and handed me a set of the only red n black Xplod speakers on the shelf{there were 3 more sets of same speakers}.

When I got home I took them out of the box something looked different. So I started to read the box and noticed that they were 2way speakers. I thought I made a mistake about them being 3ways and that was that.2 days later I was in the store again waiting for my truck which was being serviced.

I went back to the speakers , I looked at the dispay and saw the Xplod spkrs {3ways/69.99 }. Went to shelf and seen mine {2ways/79.99}. So I looked for the model# of display on the shelf and there was'nt even a tag on shelf matching the displayed spkrs.Also the Pioneers on shelf I had originally asked about were 4ways.

So I looked for the displayed Pioneers on the shelf and could not find them.I asked to see manager. He came over so I explained the situation to him.He tried to find the dispayed Sony spkrs for me.He realized what I already had.At first he was just confused as I was and then told me that they did'nt offer those anymore.

Then he said "come on you meen you can tell the differance between these?"{meaning I'm dumb enough to ask for help I should just except them}. I said yes i could tell the differance, and counted the cones , 1,2,3. And I counted the other ones, 1,2. He then said, " What do you want me to do ?

You can trade them in for the Pioneers." Then he was called away. So i tried to find the displayed Pioneers on the shelf and could'nt. So again I looked for the display model# at the shelf. Tere again ,there was'nt even a tag on the shelf. So that was now 2 sets of displayed speakers that they don't even carry anymore. The manager never came back to talk to me, so I left feeling cheated.Now I'm writing this complaint.Bre
