Perfect Watchez sells junk (Buyer Beware) Internet
I purchased 3 watches from Perfectwatchez.com. They were Christmas presents. Two of the watches were for my household and one was sent to Ohio as a present. We opened our watches Christmas morning and found that one of our watches worked and one was not functional. Not scratched, not broken just didn’t work. I reported the problem to Perfectwatchez on January 7, 2013. They acted like we didn’t know how to wind a watch. Then they wanted pictures or videos. I contacted them again in February and reported that the watch sent to Ohio didn’t work as well. Perfecwatchez response, “We need a video”. My mother-in-law is 85 years old, she does not do videos or email files. After my contact with Perfectwatchez in February they sent me this email. Dear Randy, Thank you for your recent order. We were very sorry to hear that you had a problem with your purchase. Let me just mention first that customer satisfaction is our number one priority and we will resolve this matter to your satisfaction. To start, we would like to kindly ask you to send us a more detailed description of your individual issue. If possible it is strongly recommended that you provide us with a short video of the specific problem you describe. Your description and images will be sent to a technical specialist who will review your case. In many cases we have found that the issue can be resolved without the burden of return shipping. We understand shipping an item back to China can be costly and inconvenient so we would like to do everything in our power to provide alternative solutions. This You may at any time choose to return your items for a full refund (minus applicable restocking fees). Sincerely, Customer Service, www.PerfectWatches.hk firstname.lastname@example.org (904) 758-0885 Order ID: 109152 I finally got the watch back from my 85 year old mother-in-law in June and immediately made their video and sent it to them. They said I was outside their 30 day return policy. Read the last sentence in their correspondence to me above. They said I could return the watch anytime for a refund. Keep in mind I reported the watches did not work within the 30 days. Their policy is more in keeping with with this statement in their correspondence above: ”We understand shipping an item back to China can be costly and inconvenient so we would like to do everything in our power to provide alternative solutions. “ Their alternative solution is to offer a credit on future purchases and you take your newly purchased Perfectwatchez to a local watch repair to be serviced at your expense. How or better yet why would you want a credit to buy more junk? Perfectwatchez does not have a company in the United States, they are a store front selling watches on the internet. They do not maintain inventory in the U.S. They only have a so called “Customer Service” who does not understand the meaning of customer service. If you choose to ignore this complaint, pay via credit card so you have some leverage when they ship you junk. I bought 3 watches and one worked. That is not a deal. Note: I tried to post my experience on their testimonial page, can you believe it didn’t show up. Also their great customer service group never returned a phone call and trust me I called them many times.
