i figured since my car cost $18,000 new that it was worth $15,000 and i owed that on the car so it would come out even. I was paying $220 a month with 0% financing due to i was employed by Chevrolet at that time. I figured i had good enough credit and a good enough trade in to keep my payments below $500 per month. i talked it over with them and they said that that was easily possible. Six years at $500 a month comes to $36,000 so i knew that i was paying interest.
Then i came to pick the car up. Suddenly my payments were $670 a month and they would only give me $10,000 for my new car. I was already in love and had new insurance. I was 19 years old and had a car loan for $34,000 and 13.9% interest. i had the car for maybe seven months and couldn't keep up with the payments. i went back to Peruzzi and they offered me a grand $17,000 for the car i payed $27,000 for 7 months and 7,000 miles earlier. I felt helpless as if i was drowning with a Mustang attached to my legs.
I had the car voluntarily repossesed and they auctioned the car for $20,000. I recieve calls every day for the remaining balance of my debt. They should never have processed the loan, I was too young and had too low of credit. I was paying almost what i was making for a car. The only loan company who accepted my loan was Toyota Financial, that says a lot. They fudged something somewhere to get me in that car. Now I get to hear about it every day, and my family too. It's no wonder the economy is so bad. Greed at the top is choking the middle man and Peruzzi Toyota is prime example.

Greed ... is choking

"I was driving a 2006 Chevy Cobalt i had purchased from my previous employer brand new" ... "with 14,000 miles on it ... "cost $18,000 new" ... "I was paying $220 a month with 0% financing due to i was employed by Chevrolet at that time."
So you wanted to buy another car of the same year for $36,000? Why? What is wrong with you?
"I recieve calls every day for the remaining balance of my debt."
You should it's your debt!.
"They should never have processed the loan.."
Correction, you should have never asked for the loan.
"I was too young and had too low of credit."
So which is it? "I figured i had good enough credit" Guess you should have checked.
"I was paying almost what i was making for a car."
What you have experienced is a "Stupid Tax" tax for doing something stupid.
"It's no wonder the economy is so bad" It's people like you would don't understand anything about money and how it works that caused the economy to be in the place it is in.

'Baltimore' is the last name of the main plaintiffs in that case against Toyota Corporation. I believe Toyota SETTLED this case for a little over $10 MILLION, but they admitted NO GUILT!
QUESTION: WHY would Toyota settle this case if they believed that they didn't do anything wrong?
WHY did Toyota settle the 'SEXUAL HARASSMENT' case that a female employee filed against them? You can 'Google' this- SEXUAL HARASSMENT TOYOTA, and read it.

You were 19 yrs. old. You become legally responsible for your financial decisions at age 18. What makes you special? You need to realize that you can no longer depend on others to look out for your best interests. You agreed to what you knew was a bad deal and now you want to blame someone else. Just about any car dealer is going to try to stick you with a bad deal if you'll actually agree to it.

Check to make sure that the 'Credit Application' is the same one that you filled out, & look at all the areas on that application like- 'Monthly Income', 'Years of Employment', & everything else. They could have changed, altered, or even FORGED your signature, in order to get the loan to go through.
If Toyota won't send you the copies, contact an Attorney, or contact stopautofraud.com & maybe they can advise you. Toyota Corporation KNOWS that this is, and HAS BEEN, going on!! They PROMOTE IT, so don't even trust the people at Toyota Corporation!!!
Keep us informed about what's going on. REMEMBER, if they ALTERED information on your 'Credit Application', or FORGED your signature, & you can prove it, then you most likely can recoup your losses, & even sue for damages!!!
If I were you, I'd also contact ALL of your Local News Stations and try to get them involved.
DON'T TRUST ANYONE AT THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP, & DON'T TRUST ANYONE AT TOYOTA CORPORATION!!!!!!!
Good luck!!!
