We called our finance co to make the monthly payment, they told us they had our car, it had not been repossessed, but they was called to pick it up from Pete's Towing Co. The lady LIED saying that she had not heard from me or my husband. She took the time to run our VIN through DMV, find out who our lienholder was and contacted them as if we had abandoned our vehicle. Our car was towed here and was ready to be worked on. She ensured us not to worry about towing or storage since we allowed her to do $1800.00 worth of engine work on our car. It had been there for 2 weeks due to the fact she had to shop for a new motor, we kept in contact with her, we even went by to check on the car and got some items out of it. She probably thought we owned the vehicle and thought she would take over the title....nope. So we went through a week long dispute with our finance co on locating the vehicle and having it bought back into town. The car was 3 hrs away and after we explained to them what happened, they agreed to have it bought back to town, taken to another shop for repairs. This ended up being a good thing because our car DOES NOT need a complete motor, only minor repairs. But we did end up having to pay $160.00 to this company for what I do not know. If that charge was stated in the beginning, it would have not been an issue. We have since spoken to her, and she is still denying calling them all together. DO NOT USE THIS TOWING COMPANY! They find all kinds of loopholes to try and get money from innocent hard working individuals.
