Everything written about this company is 100% true. The bait and switches, the delivering of fuel when clear notes where confirmed to be made on the account that the tank was to be delivered only a certain amount of fuel or a specific amount of times per year. Petro's pricing model has no ryme or reason to it except for the fact that the longer you are with them, the higher the price per gallon they will try to make you pay. They hold their 24/365 service plans over your head making elderly customers fear they will have no service and be in the cold if they lose their service contract with Petro. Those people are the ones paying nearly 2.00 more per gallon than a bran new customer.
Petro treats their employees no different. They force them to do anything, say anything. Basically do whatever it takes to bring on a new account to gain new business. Also when a sales person sells a new account they make a whopping $60 for it. If te customer cancels their acct or stops auto delivery to their home within 12 months of their 1 year annivesary Petro actually takes the $60 back out of the sales persons pay check. Sales person has no control over the customer or contact with them after they initially sign them. Imagine working for your pay under high stress conditions and every month your waiting to see how many people cancelled to calculate the amount they are reversing from your check.
Not only was I an employee but also a customer. They claim to give you employee discount and several times it was removed from the acct. They are brainless amd the ones who actually do have a brain, pretend they dont and are extremely shameless.
Use a local company, buy COD when you need it and if you need a service contract just hire a reputable local HVAC co that sells service contracts. The good serv contracts arent cheap but the money you'll save in oil cost by not being on an auto delivery acct with Petro will more than pay for it.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PETRO!! you will be sorry.
