I purchased a puppy from Pets, pets, pets signed an warranty and ask tons of questions about the health because the puppy doesn't look proportion the back legs looks higher than the front legs and the puppy looks bloated. So I ask they said she was just full because they just fed her and didn't answer me for the first question. So I took her home she was walking everywhere then all of the sudden she threw up a liquid substance. I thought she was just car sick from the ride home. Then the next day she threw up again yellowish, I wasn't concerned at first because she doesn't do it all the time, then the next day she threw up again so I called the vet that they recommend and they said don't give her greenies or raw hide which I did but I knew she didn't chew much of. The following day she continue throwing up with a little blood on it. So I eventually took her in.

Then they gave me medicine for her sensitive stomach. And after she still keeps throwing up and having bloody diarrhea and smelled awful. So I took her in and ask for an x-ray and they diagnose coccodia. She didn't get better until 2 months and still throwing up at least once or twice a day.

Then one sunday morning my daughter notice that her mouth was chattering. I thought she was choking but when I looked and felt nothing was in there I immediately took her to the emergency vet because their vet is closed.

When we got there the vet suspect shunt and some brain disease and they have to run test to know what was happening to her. I said I have to call the pet store because of the contract that I signed that I have to let the pet store know first. So I did and they said to take her to their vet. I had to wait until the next day. Then monday, I called their vet and told them about my puppy and they said they are busy and only have an 4:00 pm appointment. So I told my brother to take her and show them what the emergency vet recommend doing. And they said that they cannot do it today because they have to take the pre meal and post meal bile acid test.

I talked to the vet on the phone and ask what did we do to the pup. If the kids dropped it or hit it with something or if the pup ate something like chemical or anything hazardous. I said no because I have a 2 years old and our cabinets are child proof. And my kids are very gentle with her all the time.

So their vet called the petstore or vice versa and discuss about the case. I called the petstore to let them know that I have talk to the vet and they keep saying "Oh the puppy that had an head injury because the kids were rough on her." I got so upset and said " No, the kids weren't rough or did anything to harm her" I told them that they don't have the right to accuse us. And they keep saying "the vet had told us about the case. So I said I don't think so because there is no bloodwork or anything that they are accusing me of. So that night I didn't have enough sleep because she was having seizure constantly. My brother took her in first thing in the morning and I got a call from the vet that they are declining to do anything to her and recommened to get euthanized because of her health. And they are busy and nobody can care for her there. And said that we cannot get bloodwork and bile acid test because she keeps having seizures and can't even stick a needle on her to draw blood. I said that if they take a blood test it won't show if it is genetics or not and it is not accurate and probably get nothing from it and just a waste of money. So I said I have to prove that it is genetic and asked then to do it anyways and an pre bile acid test. So I called my brother on his cell that I want my dog back alive and I don't trust them. When my brother came home he said they took the test and run an x-ray on her before he left and they gave her valium to relax her. So after that I called 2 other vet that will take her and they recommed the emergency vet so I called my brother and told him to take her there instead and do the works that she needed.

Then I called the petstore and let him know what happened. And they said as long as it is genetics we will get you a 150% of the purchase price of the dog. So I ask about the vet fees and they said that they will cover that too if it is genetic.

So the next day the emergency vet called me and told me the bad news. They said they tried to save her but she has no response to any medication anymore and best to let her go and they run an x ray and they found out that she had an enlarge heart and the liver looks abnormal too. And they said for the puppy that young, the heart and liver shouldn't be that big as hers. So I agree to let her go. I called the petstore and told them what happened and they are going to be informed by their vet and will give then results of the tests. It was all abnormal and diagnose as a liver and congenital heart disease. After a week I called the petstore and ask for a refund and vet fees. They keep saying that their vet hasn't gave them a copy or letter yet. So I had to do it myself.

Then 2 weeks later I ask who the owner is and the manager- Mark keep saying that he is not there and will give him a call about the case. So I gave it another week and finally Mark the manager said that he talked to the owner and will give the refund.

So I called before we get there and he (Mark) said that he will be there to hand me the check. 30 minutes later, we arrived and looked for Mark and the older guy said that he just left 5 minutes ago for luch break. It was like 3:00 pm but anyway he said that he left a check in the drawer for the dogs refund and he want's us to sign a contract first before getting the check. In the contract in indicates that we are only getting what we had paid for the puppy which is $750 plus tax and it says there too that once we sign it "that's it".. So I ask the person in charge the amount of the check and he keep saying I don't know it is in the drawer and I cannot show it to you unless you sign the contract. He excuse himself and smoked outside.

I went outside and said I am not going to sign it. So I filed a small claim against the petstore owner. Mark tried to negotiate and said that the owner will give me $1,500 instead and he added that he could not believe that the owner will give me double what I have paid for the puppy. And thinks it is ridiculous. So the court hearing came and I met the owner August Court before the hearing takes place, August Court talked to me that he sold the petstore over a year ago and didn't know why he was there.

I was shocked to know who the new owner is... It's Mark Farrell ......the manager.... So I filed again ......... and still waiting for the hearing..... I 'm soooo upset....... I could not believe it.............
